Well here I am, where I never thought I would be

I never thought I would be here. I like having a side gig in addition to my full time job. A little extra, the “just in case” money. I tried multi level marketing with inconsistent success. I made a decent amount of money some months, then zero some other months. I hated cold messaging and being insincere. I am not a salesperson and not a pushy person, so this side gig didn’t work out for me in the long run.

I had heard of affiliate marketing but thought it was a scam like all the rest. I tried the surveys but you fill out tons of surveys and take all that time and earn a dollar. Who has time for that?? I have sold some things on EBay but even that can be a crapshoot. I searched and searched and finally came across Eddy’s post about WA and I was of course skeptical. But I liked how he explained what it was and what it wasn’t. He explained what type of people this opportunity might be for, and who it might not be for. I have always loved to read and write, I have even thought about starting up a blog. I get my thoughts out much much clearer in writing or in text/on a computer. I thought this opportunity with WA might be a great fit for me.

So here I am! I took the leap after my free trial and joined as premium. I was just indexed by Google yesterday!! I cant believe it! My niche is the fun, fashion, and decor of Lake of the Ozarks. I live at the lake and love to share my finds and suggestions with others on all things Lake of the Ozarks.

My goals for the next 3 months is to add some affiliate links and get some traffic on my page! My goals for the next 6 months is to improve my writing and learn all I can from WA about creating a website and making it successful. Also beginning to earn a little side gig money would be awesome!!
