Hub Pages Reject. :0(

In reading through the certification training, Kyle has said not to get too caught up in the writing but I'm finding it takes me quite a while (2-3 hours) to write and fine tune something before I think it is presentable. I spent a lot of time yesterday on my rejected article. Although I'm not a speed writer, I like to write an have been told I'm a good writer. Has anyone or is anyone having a similar experience?

Yes, I had the same thing happen at Hub Pages. I decided for the time being to concentrate on Street Articles, learn from this group and then expand to the others in the near future.

Thanks, Kali. Sorry you had the same issue but I have to admit that I'm taking some comfort from the fact that I'm not alone. :0) You are always so helpful. Thanks!
Hub Pages and Street Articles have slightly different criteria, but it terms of being allowed to publish I have never found that one was easier than the other.

I do wonder whether they are worth the effort, hubpages, looking at some of the top contributors who have produced between 200 to 400 articles are getting between $200 and 600$ after being on the site for an average of 5 years!!! Better to put all that good content on your own site than to build somebody else's site and still have to follow THEIR guidelines as to what constitutes a good or bad article. I suppose it might be good to put the occasional article there only.this is my humble opinion anyway.
