Friendship and the WA Community
My wise 88 year old father in law recently said "if you want a friend, you have to be a friend". That simple advice really resonated with me and I began to think about how applicable that is to this community here at WA.
It is easy to lump people into categories like "giver" or "taker". We all are one or the other dependent upon our needs at any given time. But eventually we all need to be both. Hopefully once we are helped by someone here we can put our best efforts forth to then help another down the road. It makes the quality of this experience and the membership in this community something to be proud of.
I have found the community here to be quick to respond to my requests for help and I have taken the time to put thought into reviews for others when I could have used that time to work on the mountain of other things on my site. Giving is better than receiving as they say. Taking time to help others will ultimately enrich our relationships, experience here and our lives overall!
