I have received a message from Google Search Console saying that two of my pages are not indexed due to "Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag".

But the pages it mention

That's an impressive site that you linked me too, I also found the answer to another question I had.

Thank you

GSC sometimes reports weird messages that mean nothing and can be ignored.

This is one of them.

I suspect that the algorithm that's producing these results is buried so deep in the code that the average Google programmer can no longer debug it.

Pages not indexed, is this normal?

As some of you may know, I'm not new to WA, just simply restarting my journey from the beginning!

Hence, I am looking to get the structure of my site correct before bla

I would not focus too much on Amazon in my opinion. I would do research on other affiliate programs with a little higher commission, and most are less strict. Once you have higher traffic to your site and it is closer to page 1 of Google then invest a little more time with Amazon.

Hi - no, is the short answer!

As you know, Amazon are extremely strict, and you can't change their code (only to change the image size).

If you are using their Image link or Text + Image link, then you have to use their exact HTML code from the Site Stripe bar.

It has your affiliate ID embedded in it.

The problem is, that the manufacturer supplies the image to Amazon, and only they have the right to use it.

Hence, why you can't copy and paste or screenshot Amazon images.

But I can appreciate what you're trying to do.

Maybe just have an Image link in the comparison post, and then a Text + Image link in the individual review, as this type of link dynamically changes when the price changes.

You may want to discuss this with Peter @Peterke.

Peter has a fishing website; maybe they can help out here.

Amazon has very strict rules; you want to make sure your plans align with their terms and conditions.

Is there an amazon get around that I am not aware of?
