Productive weekend!

Since it was the weekend, and we were self-grounded at home, what better way to be more productive than to work on WA.

I finished listening to Level 4 of the training. I moved to Level 5 until lessons 9 and 10.

Along the way, I scribbed notes so that I can implement the next steps.

So today I have

1. Set up Google Analytics - quick and fast - done.

2. Set up Google Search Console - previously Google Webmaster. And with the help of @Joo77, and the resources here, I managed to get it sorted out.

I fell at the steps of verifying. At first, after I pasted the HTML code, the link did not work, and verification failed.

Upon searching for answers, I found a little tip, and that enabled me to copy the html code correctly!

3. Next was to submit sitemap to Google Console. I grabbed the sitemap.xml from WordPress and copy to Google Search Console, but it stated that "it couldn't fetch".

Upon re-reading my notes and clicking "update" in Wordpress., it worked.

Tah-da, it was submitted successfully.

Hooray - get the technical aspects done and out of the way!

Next task for the week will be continue to write posts, and to find good affiliate programmes for my website.
