A clean body is great. I have been into fitness for 25 years, the last ten as a personal trainer in my own one man business. The body burns fat under many different conditions and the body reacts differently for each individual. More important than even exercise is what, when and how you eat, nutrition. I believe when your body starts using the fat it has stored it starts on the fat accumulated around your organs, kidneys, liver and so on. Now there is a pleasant thought. What I do not think is so is that you can spot burn fat. Crunches will not burn stomach fat only strengthen abdominal muscles. Which is a good thing. My opinion, no matter how misguided, is that the body burns fat wherever it chooses to. I do not think you can spot burn fat. If you could I would not be the original fathead. Of course I could be completely wrong.
