Stepping outside my comfort zone at Wealthy Affiliate

Who would’ve thought!

It’s been less than 3 weeks since I joined WA and I’ve witnessed myself do so many things I never thought I would. It was kind of coincidence how I ended up joining WA: a sequence of events brought me to a website, where I clicked a link and boom I had joined WA.

The main reason I joined was of course the fact that it was free so I thought I’ve got nothing to lose. I guess many of us have ended up here because of that :)

I've since upgraded to premium and am very happy with my decision.

Making websites and writing content

I never thought I’d be capable of building my own website. I mean, you need some kind of education for that, right? These were my initial thoughts when I reached the point in the training to start building a website. I felt skeptical about being able to achieve anything worthwhile.

The website thing ended up being easy and suddenly I had a site. But oh my gosh, I need to write content too?! I had never seen myself as a website creator, but when I just put my mind to it, it all ended up being relatively easy.

Suddenly I had multiple articles on my website too.

WA has constantly pushed me out of my comfort zone

I guess I’m bit of an introvert. I’m good at socializing out in the real world, but I'm very private when it comes to sharing anything online, for example I get very stressed about sharing social media posts.
The most uncomfortable tasks for me have been where I had to ask for comments for my website, comment on someone else’s website and share my G+ account. Oh and this blog post fits under the uncomfortable category too. But the great thing is, the more I step out of my comfort zone, the easier it gets. And I’m so proud of myself for committing to all of the tasks.

To be honest, the community at WA is incredible and I’ve found all my fears to be unnecessary.

Looking into the future

I’m excited about the future at WA. I’m happy with my niche and writing content for my website comes naturally and is actually a lot of fun. I can already see that I’m good at writing about my niche and persisting with the training will only make me better.
Anything is possible when you put your mind to it and at this stage I think only the sky is the limit.
