A website (iamscripty.com)I worked on last year and I have even gotten feedback on is no longer listed under my sites and it also shows when you type it in on the internet that
Hello
It looks like you have not maintained the domain name registration. When you purchase the domain name most are provided as a 1 year registration. Checked on Whois https://www.whois.net/ ...looks like the domain expired April 14, 2016. If you are the owner looks like it was purchased at Tucows, if you go there and renew you may be able to get it back. it looks like it is still routing through WA as shown below.
Once you renew your domain, you may want to send a support ticket to see if you can get your site up again.
Cheers
Paul

I have a website on vistaprint and want to transfer it to WA. How do I do this? Anyone have experience with this?
Is Vistaprint the issuer of your Domain also? If so, you need to go into the CPanel and find your DNS settings. Once you found them you need to transfer the DNS to WA by entering the two entries;
ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com
THIS WILL POINT YOUR DNS AT WA and after the transfer is complete you are hosted by WA. This might take up to 48 hours after you made this change for some hosts.
I hope this will help you. All the Best!
Thank you. They sent me the special back office site to change information but do you know if i should put the admin info as myself or WA?
I don't think you need to change the admin info at all. When you have changed the two DNS entries your website will be only hosted by WA and your Domain is still registered with Vistprint, thus not requiring to do anything more then just to wait until it appears in the SiteRubix Site Manager. But you will have to activate it, say one or two days after you made that change. You do that by going into the SiteRubix "How Websites Should be Built" and click on the SiteBuilder then on "a Domain of your own" and enter your domain name. This will activate your domain on the WA server and you can manage your domain then by the "SiteManager".
I hope you understand all that and it helps you!
Great! Ok This is what the site gives option for and I assume its the nameserver i need to change or does that info go under DNSSEC?
Manage Name Servers
Set custom name servers on your domain
Configure DNSSEC
Set up DNSSEC
You should not have to do anything els but change the two entries for Ns1 and Ns2 and then SAVE this settings on the Vistaprint end of the equation. Everything else will go automatically. You will be charged a yearly small fee for your Domain registration by VistaPrint and the WA hosting is included in your Premium fee.
I cannot tell from here how VistaPrint has set up their control Pane/dashboard and you will have to figure that out with them. Sorry!
i think i have that figured out! Thanks. Can you help me with another site i want to transfer? I already have had it set up in wordpress but not through WA. Would I just change the DNS the same way? Or does it delete the content already up? Should i just rebuild it on a free site then transfer the web address
?
Boy! Now you got me. Is that site hosted by another hosting company. Well, no matter, the DNS transfer only transfers your domain and not the website. You would have to reinstall the website after the DNS transfer. Unfortunately I don't know exactly how to do that. One thing I can suggest is to save all your website content on your computer first, page by page so you can reinsert it back when you are hosted by WA. All the tools are available to you there, included in your membership.
Did I make this clear enough, or is it hard to understand?
Sounds good. Yes you did make that clear enough. I really appreciate the help you have given me.
On a side note, Vistaprint sent me a web address https://manage.opensrs.net to go to to change things just in case anyone else reads this. You need to have the username and a special password from them to get in. Make sure you unlock the site and update all the info were the instructions because it changes the registration from them owning it to the true owner with your own contact information. Also, FYI they charge $20 to be able to transfer your site outside of them.
Thanks for that information! I hope that I never have to deal with a registrar who charges for DNS transfer! What else do they overcharge? But then they are from another country, in Europe I believe; at least their head office is in Holland. Different folks, different strokes, right.
