Mother Nature
Mather nature sure gave me a very unwelcome surprise this morning. Snow at the end of April, we are supposed to get around 12 inches and freezing temperatures tonight. The really sad news is all the fruit that my trees have will be gone this year.
I was praying all year that she would find it in her heart and let the fruit mature without any mishaps. Well that being said, another year goes by without fresh homemade, apricot, peach, and cherry jam.

Guess you'll just have to grab the ones you can and make frozen fruit smoothies for a while.
Same here. Already last week we had snow and temperatures below freezing point. Many fruit trees and vegetable cultures didn't survive. This year the prices for these two food will be expensive!
That is true, and living in sunny Queensland, Australia, we don't get any scenery like that.
You would enjoy building your first snowman, watching the kids make snow angels, but this kind of weather kills my bones. :)
So true, my son would be in his element (probably making snow balls and throwing them.....)
Hope you have a nice fire to sit in front of and relax. Stay warm :)
Hi Lori. Sorryto hear about your fruit.
Otherwise, it looks like a soup day by the fireplace. Calm and quiet. The makings of a perfect Saturday.
Good morning. It looks similar at my house here in Colorado. other than it isn going to require the tractor to move the snow away from my driveway and garage door. It's supposed to snow all day.
I don't have any fruit trees to worry about. I've got about 200 young free Range Chickens that will have to stay indoors today though. They will be disappointed.
Take care and appreciate the moisture.

We just got scattered showers. Heard thunder for the first time this year. The smell of the rain was awsome.
