How to Delete a "Ghost" "Hello World" Front Page
I call it a "ghost" "Hello World" page as, according to my back office, no such page or post existed on my site, but never the less there it was, as bold as brass sitting there as my front page.
I couldn't delete it, as it wasn't listed in my pages or posts to delete. I looked in the FAQs, but couldn't find anything which matched the problem I had. All the previous questions and answers seemed to refer to how to deal with "Hello World" pages which did appear in the back office.
Having spent ages looking for an answer, I finally decided to contact WA technical support. Very quickly they had not only told me what to do, but they had also done it for me! Great!
Anyway, in case other people find themselves with the same problem, I am going to tell you what they told me and it's very simple.
The solution is:
Go into Site Manager; then from the Dashboard options select "Appearance", then "Theme Options", then click on "Home Page" and, in the resulting drop down box, you will see at the top, "Enable Custom Front Page", just untick that box, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the blue "Save Options" button on the left.
I hope people find this helpful.
My thanks goes to WA Technical Support for once again speedily coming up trumps!
All the best,
Brandon

Just another amazing story of what it means to be part of this community. Is there a better internet business training site on the web ... absolutely NOT!
And for anyone who might need to find your solution going forward you are at the top of list using the WA search bar.
Thank you NWTDennis, I hadn't realised that it appears at the top of the list in the WA search bar. That's an unexpected bonus!
All the best,
Brandon
