A Bit of Motivation from Winston Churchill
I recently came across a motivational business card, which I had been given quite some while ago, which lists some of the quotes of Winston Churchill.
As a bit of motivation never goes amiss, I thought I would just reproduce them here:
"Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference."
"Continuous effort - not strength or intelligence - is the key to unlocking our potential."
"Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen."
"Never, never, never give up."
I hope people find this helpful.
All the best,
Brandon

I've always wondered if Britain could have survived WWII without Churchill. What an inspirational figure to lead in that terrible time!
Hi Bob,
Thank you for your comments. What if questions are always difficult.
All the best,
Brandon
I did a report in High School about Winston Churchill. Great quotes and great meaning and value in them. Kim :))
Many thanks for your comment Kim.
All the best,
Brandon
It's just gone 8.30pm here, so I'm just going to get something to eat!
Thanks, Brandon! He is one of my fave people in history, mainly for the attitude. I love the courage quote.
Thank you for your comment Carla. He also came out with some off the cuff witty comments. I also like a lot of the quotes of Benjamin Franklin, many of them are really witty. I think I heard somewhere that George Washington and Thomas Jefferson would not let him write any of the American Constitution as they thought he would put too many jokes in it!
All the best,
Brandon
P.S. The obvious Benjamin Franklin quote is "We must all hang together, lest we all hang separately!"
That's one of my all-time fave Franklin quotes, too, Brandon! I'm from Philadelphia, so grew up with Franklin in my face. LOL He also wanted a turkey as our national emblem instead of the eagle. :)
I saw a picture of him on a US banknote, (I can't remember which one), but he looked a really pleasant, amiable person, whereas most people on banknotes tend to be stern faced.
