Maybe I Screwed Up With My First Niche... Not Sure...
Well, my first niche is chugging along but I feel like I picked something that just holds no interest for me. I picked baby strollers and carriers because it is an evergreen niche and because at the time there were several I found interesting. I work for CPS and run into them often. I have no kids though, and after some writing with it I realize I don't like it. I have a few options:
- I abandon ship now, and cut my losses...
- I finish it up, writing a few more reviews and articles
- I choose another niche, coming back occasionally to work on this one.
I ask everyone: what would you do?

If you have no interest in the topic i would cut your losses and move on. The idea is to pick something that your passionate about or interested in or want to learn about etc so that you can write about it for long periods of time and continue adding content. You don't want to be working on something that you just dont like cause soon you will just want to stop looking at the site altogether lol =). You might just keep it up if you change your mind later but I would def find a new niche to put most of your focus on.

Great points! I need to get a bit focused on what I WANT to make a site about, not what I think may make money... Amateur mistake I'm guessing!
well im sure there are plenty of subjects that you like that could make money lol lots of ppl seem to think that you need something super popular but as kyle has said throughout the training almost every niche can be monetized.
I'm actually thinking of looking at shortwave radios. A bit antiquated but I'm also betting not a niche that has a huge amount of competition! Plus, I've always been a big fan.
