Lost My Job Today
Hello All of you wonderful people.
I went into work, sat at my computer
got a booking, every one was called
Into the office one at a time and came
out looking glum.
When I finished the booking it was my turn.
The office manager, said I’m sorry but we have
to let you go. We have enough money to
Pay your basic wage but not enough to
Pay your commissions. He asked if I wanted
To stay and work commission only I said No
Thank you. He said it should only be for a month
Or two.
The good news is, I’m starting a new job
On Monday working from home. No traveling
time of one and a half hours, no expenditure
on petrol. A totally different product, exciting
New script and system to learn.
I can now spend the next 3 days writing for
my site which is awesome. Plus that’s an extra
Hour and a half I can spend on here every day
Of the week.
Working with a 3 year old running around will
Be a huge challenge but if my husband can do
It then so can I.
My weekend has started now happy days.
I hope you all have a productive Friday.
The temperatures here are still in the mid
30’s. Time for a swim.

Hey Lisa, losing your security pay cheque can be daunting but as you said it has a silver lining, having more time to work on your online business will prove to be fruitful down the line.
During lockdown I was able to put in a lot of extra time on my second website and things were going well.
However I was called back to work and things have halted as I now don't have the time again. Makes you wonder were I would be if I was laid off. My advice grid out as much content as you can muster now with the extra time.

Well done Lisa. I certainly can relate tour situation being made redundant around a month ago and although working hard to find another job it's not working out well. This is what has drawn me to WA and has given me a vision and renewed enthusiasm.
Important to stay true to yourself, keep that smile on your face and your head held high.

I can relate. I lost my job lat last year. Although I got a new one in less than a week, it pays a lot less. I am working on my blog as much as i can and learning here at WA for about 3 months now. I am focused to make this work, so that I can work for me.
