Are the join link and main affiliate link the same thing. I'm thinking they are not and am unable to find the join page link. Or join page. Can someone help me with this.
I always get the affiliate link for WA in the upper right corner of this page.
Click on the black button with an airplane on it.
the drop down will contain the links and tracking link.
that is where you can find your affiliate link.
Just open all of them to see which one you want your visitors to see.

If you look on the left of this page, there is a link under Affiliate Program:
$ WA Affiliate Program
When you click on that link, the page that comes up will have a link at the top in blue titled:
Links & Tracking
All your links are on the page that follows clicking "Links & Tracking"
Under your affiliate links there is a Creative Account option that is the sign up page - if that is what you are looking for.
