Technology . Ugh!
So yesterday was all about technology .. sometimes we need to focus on the less than fun parts of our business! It all started when I tried to sign up for MailChimp, but I wasn't receiving their verification email. Then I started testing .. and testing .. and testing. And I figured out that my website email wasn't being recognized by the internet. But I could still send out emails, just not receive any. They would bounce and I would receive a "not recognized" message.
It seems when you switch DNS you also need to switch your email settings to point to the new webhost .. who knew!
Technology .. not my strong suit .. but that is part of this business as well. The not so fun part. I'm happy to announce that my email does now seem to be working! Laying the foundation .. that's what's important right now .. Sometimes I need a reminder.
