Am I jumping the gun!? Need help!
Hey everyone! I sent this question out to a damn-super-successful WA member but figure out I would put out to everyone =)
I have a question regarding loooooong-term strategies...
I'm currently working on a blog focusing on making money online & becoming an entrepreneur. I'm working an angle of all things small business including health topics as well as wealth.
I'm trying to create a brand that's raw and more "join me on my journey" then "follow me to success".
But I'd like to expand to Youtube and create reviews of products using mucheye/jvzoo, all that fun jazz.
My question is, how soon can I start creating a channel for product reviews without being too "salesy".
I subscribe to a lot of channels that teach how to grow a biz & use affiliate links but they have the stats to prove success. I'm such a newbie!
Am I jumping the gun by pushing my errr... brand I guess... into product reviews too soon? Should I hold off until I have an audience/substantial email list?
Should I separate the brands completely and create a straight forward product review channel on YouTube?
I want to jump right in but not really sure whats the best tactic? My brain keeps telling me to gain trust first through my blog then start product reviews but I'm so impetuous that I want to start now.
Let me know if I'm even making any sense! Thank you!

I believe that just by doing good products review to youtube it's a good strategy,
as many people these days will look for good reviews before purchasing products and especially the digitals one! and for the fact, it will increase traffic to your Website as well,
where you have your written blocks, and affiliate products!
so why not?
there are lots of little peases to put together on the puzzle,
before we can see the completion, and it's up to you from where you want to start!
Plus only by doing we learn!
good luck
and
have a good day!
:o)
Hi Liz, Just been reading your question. The main thing is not to create confusion, so are trying to brand the channel as yourself with which you review certain product brands? Plus are you going to refer them directly to an affiliate product or your website? These are a few questions to ask first. I don't think you can be too 'salesy' just so long as you are doing an informative and valued review.
One of the main things I have found is you just need a relevant call to action at the end of your video which tells the viewer to check something out should they wish to do so and links within the description. Then it's not too pushy!
Hope this helps
