I went to Meditation class last night. Usually Fridays are ordinary and we do the same relaxation and meditation routine, but last night it was different. The instructor shared her story of success. She shared her journey from misery to success. Usually she doesn't share her life story. I was told she was an intuitive healer. Maybe she knew I needed inspiration and motivation to move towards my business dreams.

My teacher told the class how she worked in billing for years and was completely miserable. She was stressed out every day of her life kinda like me in my Customer Service position. One day she decided she had enough and gave her employer her resignation letter. She had no job lined up, no plan, just hope that she would find happiness becoming a spiritual healer.

She found a job part time at a yoga studio, eventually she taught Meditation and Reiki. Fast forward ten years later, she is living her dream and she hasn't looked back. She doesn't have a second job only living her passion on the side. Instead she owns her own yoga studio where she teaches Yoga and Meditation.Plus she has her own Reiki and Angel Healing business. She joked yesterday that if a woman from Pennsylvania can earn a living being a spiritual healer than anyone can live their dreams.

I find her story extremely inspirational and it's proof that human beings are capable of everything and anything if we put our minds to it. Often we give up too easily or believe the negative voices inside our heads that tell us that we are inadequate.

We listen to the outside world that tells us we are insane for even thinking about that far-fetched dream. We believe that we ordinary and that life will always remain the same. We tell ourselves it is better to blend in with the crowd, work until we are 65 and vacation for a few years. But in our hearts we know there's something more, something far greater. We can feel the possibility, the excitement, the rush, the anticipation. Listen to your heart and follow that dream. My meditation teacher listened to her heart and look at where she is now.
