Help Needed with my Niche... Anyone?

I'm at the point of registering my own domain name and I got kind of stuck...

My niche is temporary tattoos. I'm born in the US but I've been living in Greece since I was 9 so I'm having some "technical" difficulties:

-Is temporary tattoos the correct term for those tattoos you put on with water and last for a few weeks?

-Is it a broad term? Here are my search results from Jaaxy. I'm guessing that the numbers are looking pretty good. So does that mean I don't need to narrow it down?

-I was thinking of making my blog mainly about how to wear tattoos. Will the readers understand that by "wearing" I mean how to use on there body or will it be referring to the sleeve tats and shirt tats that you actually do wear?
Any help or comment will be very appreciated! Thanks for your time!!

tattoos for kids is another one you could use

Thanks for the reply. I think kids will be one of my pages. There's not too big of an audience..
Being on the subject, when I research for info do I use the word kids or children? What's more common?

Kids, I think. People like to put as little as possible down and still get the search idea across. But using children could give you some ideas as well.

I think the terms "apply" and "display" or "show" are more appropriate when referring to the type of tattoo you speak of. Also, did you try the phrase "temporary tattoos for women" in Jaaxy? See what the results are if you turn any of those phrases into grammatically correct phrases.

Do you think temporary tattoos is too broad? Do I really need to narrow it? I will try the "....for woman" to see the rankings. I'll probably be going for something like that if I need to narrow.

@ Litsa--Actually, I don't think temporary tattoos is too broad at all. I was thinking more along the lines of keywords for articles that you will be writing for your website. You could narrow, but if it was me, I'd be happy with temporary tattoos as a website niche.

Thanks! I was hoping I didn't have to narrow!
About the term "wearing", I meant to use it referring to advice on which parts of the body each design should be worn on, which design would be appropriate for which occasion (Christmas, holidays, first date, going to the beach with swimwear, etc). But no one has understood that. So obviously it's not a good choice.

The term should be fine when you use it because it will be seen in the context of the article your are writing, which will explain as well.

Ok. Thanks. I'll see how I can use it correctly in my blogs then. You've been very helpful.

:)

I suggest you research other articles and sites that refer to temporary tattoos and that might give you more ideas and keyword searches. They often use terminology that would make great keywords, but they don't use them as keywords where it counts, in their headings and first paragraph, so you may be able to find a few gems that way as well. ~Jude

I have looked up quite a few sites but they don't really have content. That's why I haven't found better keywords. I will do more searching though since I know how important it is. Thank you for your time and advice!

Hi Litsa, well at least you will be able to beat them in rankings because you will know how to set up your site properly from the start and add quality content.

A few keywords - these might be too competitive, but you can check with Jaaxy: non-toxic temporary tattoos, safe temporary tattoos for all ages, stick on tattoos, safe removable tattoos, stick on fun tattoos, waterproof removable tattoos....~Jude

Wow, that was really helpful! I really like the "removable tattoos". I was looking for something with the same meaning but with a different name. I'll look into that right away!Thank you so much! If I can do anything for you please let me know!!

Hi Litsa

Temporary tattoos is certainly the correct term.

I have tattoos and I'm not sure that I would immediately understand what you mean by 'wearing them'. I would understand how to 'care' for my tattoos - where to 'place' my tattoos....

The keywords - you don't want to use temporary tattoos adults - because it's not a grammatically correct term, nor is temporary tattoos women. You always want to use terms that make sense.

:) Beverley

Thank you so much. You've been very helpful!
