Have You Failed At Internet Marketing?
Do you feel like you have failed at internet marketing?
Step back and take a look at what you have done. Have you written articles or even ONE article? Started a PPC campaign? Attempted to build a landing page? Went through the Action Plan here at WA? Built a Squidoo Lens?
If you answered yes to ANY of the questions above - then you have NOT failed!
Many people think they have failed because they are not making money yet. Don't give up!
The only failure is not moving forward.
Keep writing, keep building, keep learning.............move forward to success.
Whatever "success" means to you. Don't stop until you get there.
Take joy in the small accomplishments, do at least ONE thing everyday to work towards your goals and YOU will achieve them.
What if everything you look at as a failure is nothing but a "learning experience". It is only one step closer to your success.
I have taken lots of risk (not monetary risk, just comfort level risk) in my internet marketing career - I have been laughed at and told NO several times. Did it stop me? HELL NO
I figured out what didn't work and tried again.
Does my first website look pathetic? ABSOLUTELY
I still am not sure how much better they look. The important thing is that I DID IT AND I STILL AM DOING IT _ NO MATTER WHAT!!
I will either make sales or I won't. At least if I TRY - I have the opportunity to make sales.
Don't get caught up in earning money..........get caught up in achieving the small steps and the sales will follow.
It is IMPOSSIBLE to mess this up. You can just start over and learn from your mistakes as you go....

Wise words indeed, thankyou very timely for me, I've had nothing but technical difficulties since my laptop died mid article marketing course, and i really had a moment this morning when i thought sheesh, i'm fed up of this, but no, bring it on, i'll keep trying no matter what. best wishes to you ~
If you never try then you will fail, however if you try and fail but get up and try again you are succeeding in eliminating the things that do not work for you. Just remember Edison who said I did not fail 1,400 times to find the light bulb I eliminated all those ways that did not work and so got closer to the one way that did. That is exactly how this business works and to make matters harder the paths keep changing as the technology grows. That does not make finding the path that works for us any less sweet! Keep at it and you will succeed.
One thing I can tell you for sure that I have learned about internet marketing in the last 2 years...
Internet marketing is just like any other business and you must spend money to make money initially.
I dont care what anyone says about doing everything the "free" way... WHY?
Because you will burn yourself out, get very little results and feel like giving up. That is the case with about 95% of internet marketers that try to do everything of their own backs and doing it the free way.
Yes, you have to start out the free way until you can muster up a couple of sales, but those couple of sales must NOT go in your pocket, they must go towards your new business.
I am not saying you must go out and splash the cash on every new and shiny tool there is, you must be very conservative and use your money wisely, this is where business skills take over and carry you to the next level.
Let's say you made $50 this week in clickbank.
What would you do with it?
Would you spend it going out with your friends?
Or maybe buy the newest launched guru product that you will look at first 2 days and forget about it.
Or...
You would pay that $50 to get yourself 15-20 well written articles by someone else (outsourcing your work to someone else) while you keep building on those couple of sales you made.
Those well written 15-20 articles could potentially quadruple your $50 you invested, providing that you are paying a good author for quality content.
Half of those articles could be used on building brand new wordpress sites, unique content is gold and you must use it on your own sites as much as possible.
The point being, I agree with you Lisa, you must invest in your business to get ahead, or you will burn yourself out and fail.

Yes, that's right. Stopping to achieve your goal is the real failure. If one way failed, we can take a detour, while keeping focus on our goals. Good luck for you:)
Right on! Focus on the process and stick with it. If something doesn't work, then change it, but keep at it. You have a winning attitude.

Thank you so much Lisa. I have been lately feeling overwhelmed, but it is because I focus that I have not earn any money. I should be more focused in doing the steps and forget of making money right away from the campaigns. I am really motivated with IM. Thanks again!
