dedicated
Just earned my dedication badge. Oddly enough, I was thinking how UN dedicated I have been. This whole summer I didn't once look at my website. I didn't do any training. I feel like I forgot how to do everything. Am I mad at myself? At first I was, then, I thought about everything that happened this summer. My daughter graduated from College and moved back home. My son graduated from High School and is living on Campus now, going to College. My other 2 kids, leading very active lives. Because all 4 of my kids were home this past summer, and potentially the last summer we will all be together like this, I took time off from everything to be with them. I'm sure many people would say, "Well, did they want to be with you?" The answer is yes. A very proud Yes.
As we were enjoying a Wonderful summer, my mother-in-law took ill. Many plans we set up for August went to the wayside to take care of her. No one complained cause we all knew what we had to do.
My amazing mother-in-law passed end of September. My family and I have so many memories and experiences, some unexpected and not so pleasant, but that is life and I would not have changed this summer at all.
Yes, I could have turned on the computer, listened to some lessons and learned more, but I would not have been fully into my family like I was able to be. They have to be number one. Now, it's time to make myself number one, become dedicated to my site and learning so I can make the most I can so my kids can attend the College of their choice. The older 2 were able to go where they wanted to, the younger 2 should have the same ability.
Thanks for Listening,
Lisa
