Growing up, I didn't know my life was not normal. The confusion, pain, and terror were unfortunate companions that I didn't know how to get rid of. There they stayed for many years.

In college I started looking at my life and comparing it to those around me. I began to realize there was something wrong, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

At age 29 my body had enough, and it was time to get my act together. My daughter was in danger and only I could say from what... but my mind was just a blank.

Accessing the information I had known but denied, I found myself a survivor of Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA). I was a wife, mom of four wonderful children, and a homeschooler. I had been falling apart for years and now it was time to face what I couldn't bear.

It has been a long two decades since then. I was able to separate my children from the perpetrators, for which I can never thank God enough. The road to healing has been complex and the long term effects of SRA on my body have been agonizing, but I am finally coming out the other side.

Trying to find information on SRA has been very difficult through the years, but the information has finally been coming out. I want to help others in this process. I don't want them to feel as alone as I did.
