What now? What do I do first?
I have been with WA since the end of November 2014 and have done the training and have worked on my website. Here's the problem. I'm stuck. I have too many problems to deal with.
- For example: My SEO needs work.
- I have problems with Google Analytics & WebMasterTools. I have trouble explaining the details to WA'ers so I am getting conflicting answers to my questions. The questions are numerous in this area. I'm afraid of doing anything for fear that I mess it up again.
- I have been helping others by supplying feedback and placing comments. Yet my website is suffering because I do not get enough comments.
- I've added affiliate links to a page that no one sees right away. I need to redo training in this area and do a Review Page.
- Content is required on my website, now. But my mind is in a swirl and I feel like I am going no where.
- I work on the above problems about 5 or more hours a day. No time off. For weeks.
Now What? How do I focus? What do I do first?

Thanks Lindin. Stop and THINK abouth whol WA system. Test good almost Websites, ...Good Luck
Start going over the lessons you've already completed. Sometimes it takes a 2nd look to better understand things. You have some great tips here, I see. I'd like to add to maybe concentrate on one task at a time, and don't worry about everything, as that can certainly be overwhelming. Take a deep breath and exhale
Thanks I have found many good tips. The one I started with was to continue breathing....deep...and take some time off . I'm oft skating today.
Thank you everyone who responded to my whining. It's good to know I have so much support in WA..
Really, anything you do takes time and thought. If this how it works, then, just write anything on each topics?
Hello Linda I have seen your website and would like you to read some intersesting stat/data from here How people see your website.
I hope this may give you some idea how to design the website that responds to the reader.
Yes, I completely agree. I need to make my site more visual, engaging and colorful. I thank you for the link. Now I need to figure out how to do this. The theme I am using is so basic. Thank you Tinnakon I appreciate your input.
Hi Lin. Send me a PM about what your main problems are. You should have got in touch ages ago instead of struggling on yourself.
PM me asap and I will get back to you tomorrow ok.
Robert
Robert thank you so much for the information that you sent me. I will follow your advice to concentrate on content. I did get sidetracked. We are good at derailing ourselves sometimes. Thanks again.
No probs Lin. Just take it slow and easy and don't get flustered even though you might feel like tearing your hair out - stay calm.
Have anice day.
Robert
Hi Linda,
Have you asked regularly for feedback? You will find this at your log in page to your website. I will gladly leave a comment on your site as well.
I do struggle sometimes really hard myself but like anyone said here already, I take a step back and take a breather. You are doing fine and you are getting there where you want to be.
Sylvia
I was giving loads of feedback when people asked, and I was asking for it too, but not going in to the feedback section. I found that button yesterday (forgot Kyle had mentioned that in training) and gave two feedbacks right away and today asked (and received) feedback on mine. The quality of feedback is better in this section.
Why do people use the comment area to ask in the first place? Maybe they are not understanding the procedure either. I think that the feedback button was implemented just a few months ago.
Thank you Sylvia, for responding. If you would comment my site is http://completeartattack.com
As Moz said step back take a moment to stop and reflect. I can't help on points 1 & 2 but I can definitely leave a few comments :).
Point 4 sounds like you know what you need to do there but if you need our opinion at WA post a link to the page and we can take a look.
5. - Take a step back. I found 15 Reasons Why Your Site Isn’t Listed In Google, Generating Traffic, or Making Money
It says to write down 15 titles for content to want to put on your site.
After you have them draw up a plan of action. E.g. when your are going to post them this will give you a plan of attack
6. Take a day off. You are not going to come up with any ideas if you are burnt out.
Who knows I Ideas may come when you are not thinking about it.
Thanks for the training link. It may give me a better view of what GA and WMT are all about. I'm not understanding their individual purpose so how can I relate to fixing problems.
I did see Welshy's video on how to set it up, but I'm not understanding how to fix what I've already done. I'm working on this now.
A deep breath is always a good start, some congratulations in order for getting so much done for yourself and others, then focus on your priorities - listen to your intuition first - then maybe look at your content that you say is required and step by step revise the course modules covering all those things in order so they build...
you are doing great!
Yes. Breath deep. Lack of air equates to lack of brain power. Thanks for your comments. Back to school I go!

installed wordpress theme...what is next?
So you have made your first decision. Great. Now just follow the Get Started Course and Kyle will be giving you step by step instructions on how to set up your plugins, how to decide on a niche and how to do SEO, plus more. It's terrific that you have decided to go premium as there are so many videos and tutorials that will keep you on track. Don't be like me and fall off the bus by doing too much.
Best of luck...oh and I will add you to my network with a follow in case I can be of any help along the way.
