Am I worse then you just because my native language isn't English?
Interesting blog title, right?!
I am in a bad mood. I am running the blog. It is in English. My native language is not English. Is it my fault? Am I a bad person, therefore? Why such a questions? I just got anonymous feedback on my blog that my English SUCKS.
Yes, it is not my native language, yes my English is not perfect, maybe for someone, it is not even good. But does it means that I can't run a blog in English? I know that content is really important for every website but I am doing my best to write posts which could help someone and answer questions.
I know that I don't need to take to heart everything that someone is saying, although in some case it was true.
It is not easy to learn right English FAST. I don't want to blog in my native language as my country is too little, does it means that I need to forget about my website?!
Those are rhetorical questions to myself tonight.
P.S. Including my native language (Latvian) I know 3 languages (although English and Russian) and I am proud of that..even if my grammar is not perfect..

Hi Liene, you should feel proud it can be hard when folks are not so tolerant. But don't worry about it I am a native English speaker and my writing leaves a lot to be desired. My take home is that it is a work in progress we all get better by putting ourselves out there that is the important thing just run your own race safe in the knowledge that we will all improve as we move a long
My native language isn't English either. I think your English is good already and from my experience you will only get better as you keep reading and blogging. So to answer your question, definitely not worse! :)
Yeah, it's obvious English isn't your first language, but as has been said, there's native English bloggers writing a lot worse. I don't know, maybe it could be your "thing" and work for you. Without being patronising, given the niche you're focusing on and the fact that you're young, it could work out for you as an endearing aspect to your site. Your English may not be perfect but the little slips gives your writing an unique and distinctive voice: a lot of bloggers spend a great deal of time cultivating that.
You can run your posts through free online software to pickup some of the errors if you're worried about it. However, Zsa-Zsa Gabor and Brigitte Bardot didn't do so bad out of their bad English back in the day, so like I say, I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing.
Honestly, your English is better than many native English speakers. I think the reason may be that since it isn't your native language, you focus more on getting it right.
Keep up the great work! You're doing just fine.

You're doing great. Nice blog and explanation. You don't need any apologies. Just continue to move forward and learn the great system W/A provides to all of its participants. Be proud and have great success and a wonderful future. Don't change anything. Good luck! Bob
I don't really see any issue with your English. I can tell it is not your native language but our posts are definitely readable. Don't feed the Trolls you are doing great!
