For review-type posts where you say "best products for [year]", do you have to go in and change the year manually or is there a coding to change it on autopilot.
You can set the URL without the date and then change the title.
For the following year, update manually. Plus, editing any additional content to reflect the new changes, if any.
Hi Jason
Some SEO plugins allow you to create a date (year) tag in the meta-title that automatically changes.

Hey Jason,
What I was taught is this... when creating a title such as: "Best Electric Shaver for Men 2024"... only include the "best-electric-shaver-for-men" in your post's permalink.
In other words do NOT use the 2024 date in the permalink.
BUT... when you do that... you need to be SURE to return in 2025 to update the 2024 to 2025... and ONLY if the best in 2025 is the same as they were in 2024.
Hope my example here helped you resolve this issue.
I honestly think it would be better to write an updated article on the "best products for [year] versus changing the title. The title is indexed and recognized the way it is, and altering it could affect rankings and visits.
Just switch up your wording, and maybe change out a product.
Hope this is helpful.

Is there a way to make an article where the year changes automagically?

If you're not using Yoast or Rank Math SEO tools, both of which provided function for this, try the "Dynamic Month & Year" plugin which is up to date, has about 6000 install and so far has only 5* reviews.

I wonder, since my site is on raising cats and I do give some veterinary-like advice yet I'm not a vet, for example "how to take care of a diabetic cat", should I have some kin
Yes, you will need a disclaimer.
I have one on one of my pages to inform readers not to rely on my information as an alternative to medical advice when talking about aromatherapy oils.
Hi LevlUp! In my opinion is great to do so, YES. As Davebux and Triblu suggested, doesn't need to be a PhD disclosure, but will sure give more authority and trust to your readers.
Best wishes,
Leonard
Some sort of comment that makes it perfectly clear that you are a cat owner not a cat doctor. It doesn't have to be much, just enough to let folk know that this is your opinion, this is what I did and leave the rest up to them.
A chef might cook a fantastic curry and then say, of course, if you are allergic to cow's milk, use coconut milk instead.
Some people put a few words at the bottom of the first or last page, Fred is not a physician, all his comments are his own personal experiences. You may need to consult a medical professional.
Just my opinion.
Hope it helps. good luck, cat man.

Hey Jason,
That would be a good idea and a great way to protect yourself from those who might cry "but I thought you were a veterinarian"... like so many people love to do today.
Responsibility is no longer that of the readers... REALLY? YUP! Sad but true!
What you could do is Google search "disclaimer for pet sites that are not veterinarians" (without the quotation marks, of course) and read through other's to see if you can find one to use... but DO adjust it as in EDIT it... to suit your purpose.
I've done that with health posts that I've shared on my personal blog... you know... added a disclaimer to protect me from being sued for claiming something worked for me.
It's always best to add disclaimers wherever possible.
Hope you find this helpful.

I have a page that has hit rank 10 on Amazon and climbing, but it is one with a lot of Amazon images and, as you're prolly aware, my page is bare of images. I thought I heard a
The best Amazon option is AAWP plugin, it offers a unique bestsellers feature to choose only the most popular products automatically and forever, no need to do anything manually ever again, set and forget.
Consider also geniuslink which operates as an external service. It is better than AAWP because it will work for many brands and affiliate networks.
Forget lasso it is far more expensive.
All of them require API.
unfortunately only a paid way: (but more affordable than the Lasso plugin, and on the other hand time-consuming if you have lots of images to change. I changed mine within a week because I had lots of my own images) I found a more affordable option for Amazon pictures then the Lasso Plugin! Lizzy
I second what Diane has said as I was wondering about this a few weeks ago. It's a shame that we only have a text option left from Amazon but I also learned that an API key is required and well...you know the rest.
Hi - there are several plugins, such as Lasso, not sure if any of them are free, but they all require the use of your Amazon API key.
And to apply for the key, you need to have met the initial sales target of 3 sales within your first 180 days and to have at least one sale in the last 30 days.
So, that is the first hurdle to overcome!
That is a high hurdle. I don't know if you can get anyone to even stay on your page without images. On to Phil1944 as commented above

I have heard that a great thing to do in this business or any other you take up is to set up a time each day to work on your business. At least an hour of your time, however it
I know you do. You're all over the place in here which is quite impressive. Do you schedule certain things to be done at certain times like social media work, blog writing, Youtube editing? Or is it just a little random each day?
I do six tasks, each for ten minutes, covering an hour. Even if a task is unfinished, it can be completed in the next scheduled slot. I focus on one task at a time.
My day is evolving and ever changing in order to follow habits, however, I do believe in them.

I have habits that I have developed over time, and I feel that they work well for me, Jason! Once you do this, it will go smoother, in my opinion!
Jeff
I don't do that. Partly because I like every day to be different and because I remain flexible for family.
If I had a day job I'd probably need to schedule a regular time.
