What Is Your Internal Weather ?
What is your weather like there?
The weather here has been dark gloomy freezing with ice and snow piled everywhere. It's the time of year when cabin fever has taken hold and the only way to keep my sanity is to realize the earth is alive and this is how it renews itself. Then It makes me smile as I visualize the feel of warm sun and blooming colorful flowers.
The state of the weather is probly the most talked about of all subjects, except how we feel, and when we talk about the weather we are probly telling others indirectly how we feel. If the days are hot, some people love it, some people complain endlessly. Some are miserable when it's cold, while others are invigorated.
We actually react emotionally in a favorable or unfavorable manner. So when we come right down to it, what bothers us is our internal weather.
Too often we forget that weather, whether or not it is the kind we like, is a vital necessity for making the earth a place to live on. In fact only through changes was it at all possible for life to even get started.
If we think of our earth as something that is alive, something that breathes with great masses of circulating air about it, nourishes, and rebuilds itself. Then we realize that all kinds of weather are necessary.
What we should get disturbed about is not the weather but that we let ourselves get emotionally disturbed by those climatic changes which enable us to live on this earth.

Your right, we might just well move to where we can have our favorable weather. I do believe the weather can
be very pleasant and we do have nice temperatures here in the northwest. I just happen to be up in the mountains, 5 miles to northern Idaho, Ski country and beautiful. I believe it could be the lack of sunshine that can effect the mind. About 2 months since the sun has been out. Except for the one day up on the ski slope, sun for 2 hours! But its only a couple month to spring, . Yes, Around 72 degrees people here start complaining that it's getting hot! But I love 72 temps

You're totally right about how our feelings about the weather can actually relate to our true feelings inside. I am personally one of those people that despises the heat, but loves the cold. It makes me feel alive, and as you said, invigorated. It makes me feel happy, and I feel the winter season causes a lot of people to feel happier as well ("Jolly", if you will).
Since the cold makes me so happy, I intend to move to the northwest where it stays cool (Compared to where I live now, that is, though I'm sure the residents of the northwest believe 65 degrees is hot!) year round, with actual snow during the winter! After all, if a certain temperature or type of weather makes you feel unhappy, why not move somewhere that you can feel your "Favorable" whether all the time, or at least most of the time?
Interesting post! I guess my internal weather right now is "Chill". LOL! I feel very inspired and happy today.
