Catching up with the Masses

8 weeks today. My posts are good. Google is accepting and ranking them as fast as I can write them. I have written 7 posts not including the privacy policy. All 7 have been ranked. The computer side of things is killing me. I have to go back and add pictures and the such. Every time I try I wind up screwing the whole thing up and have to delete all recent work and start again. I have deleted so many times the "D" has been worn away, which I like because now I am elete !!!

I'll get it. It is slow going sometimes but It's coming along. I got this picture in, right?

The niche I chose is silver dollars. As a kid I collected baseball cards. I would probably still collect them today except free agency ruined the fun. Mickey Mantle is a great example. Every card ever produced of the Mick has him in a Yankee's uniform. If you were a Yankee fan it could be counted on that the local hero would be back hitting home runs for the home team. These days its different. A player like Alex Rodriquez has cards with 3 different teams. Too much movement, It becomes very difficult to root for individuals when all they are playing for is a pay check. No player has any allegence to their team. Most professionals will play where they get payed the most. Last place in the division is fine as long as I'm getting mine. My next niche might be pre 1970 baseball cards. Today it is silver dollars. I am a big fan of precious metal. Gold is beautiful but far too expensive for my bank accounts. Silver on the other hand is just as beautiful and almost 10x cheaper. Most importantly, silver will make a monetary run probably this year. When it does investments in silver will go soaring!

Just finishing up the second group of lessons and hoping that next we can get into the crux of the biscuit, how we actually make money. Believe it or not I am still a little confused on that subject.

Everybody I follow or just chat with that has some experience in marketing all say the same thing," Have some patience, it will take a while to build some traffic and get your message out there". I am told a solid year. If you are not willing to go slow or you are one of those people that has to have immediate gratification this won't work for you.

I really don't know what to expect but I am going to stay positive and hope that at roughly the 6-month mark I see something that tells me I am headed in the right direction. If I get no sign that this online affiliate marketing is going to pan out after a year or so than it will have to be door #2 and the Marijuana fields of California !
