How do people become successful?
For different people success is defined in varying ways.
For some success is to have a thriving business, or to have a great career, or maybe to become a famous actor, or just to find the love of their life.
I am interested in those people who started from being nobody to becoming somebody.
So how those people become successful?
I like reading their stories so I can learn how they did it. Those stories inspire me.
Like Ignat Kanneff, you probably never heard of him, but he is originally from my country - Bulgaria. He could not afford to complete school, left Bulgaria at the age of 14.
Long story short, he ended up in Canada, with no money, no knowledge of English and no friends there. He worked hard. Five years later he founded his first construction company.
The full story is in Wikipedia if you are interested.

His net worth now is US $1.2 billion. Pretty good for a guy who did not have any education or rich parents.
I have watched interviews with him, and he is very down to earth person. He is amazing. He is not the only one I read about it.
Few years ago I received as a Christmas gift the book ''Outliers'' by Malcolm Gladwell because the person who gave me the book knew I would love it. Not sure how many times I read it:)
People who succeed ''think and act in a certain way'' says Wallace D. Wattles in his book The Science of Getting Rich and I do agree with him 100%.
Does luck play a role? I believe it does, but sometimes.
I was looking at some profiles here at WA of people who abandoned their websites, left the community and did not continue with their dreams, or maybe they did, as their dreams could have changed.
I read their posts. They were full of enthusiasm and motivation. Those people believed they would succeed.
I am not sure if one day I will be one of those people or a success story. I know I would try to think and act in that certain way.
WA is a great community, and I am grateful I have found it. Special thanks for those of you who take the time to answer my questions, guide me and created those amazing training that I am going through every day.
Happy Easter to everyone!

Hello, Lena. Very well said. You are a great part of our WA community helping all of us. Thank you for sharing. Happy Easter to you & your family.
Nice post. People that come from nothing are just SO inspirational!!! I should also add humbling as well. :-) ~Debbi
Thank you, Debbi! This is true, they don't beat their chests and talk about their wealth and success left and right. I never knew he was so successful and received so many awards until I saw an interview with him and was impressed the way he spoke about his achievements.
I posted 2 articles part one is from "desperation to inspiration" and part 2 is "130g in the bank", you might enjoy
I just did! That's what I prefer read and one of your websites is exactly what I like to visit and read!
Thank you, Joseph! I enjoy your posts too, although I don't comment always and just hit the like button, but I do read them!

Nice to meet you, Lena. From Bulgaria? Wow! My ancestors were originally from Poland. But that was long ago and now there is no one left in Poland. You mentioned a book, the Outliers by Malcom Gladwell. Could you give a little more information about the book? Thank you...
Nice to meet you, Tom! Here is a link with very good information about the book https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outliers_(book). Gladwell explores the factors that contribute to high levels of success. He frequently mentions the "10,000-Hour Rule", claiming that the key to achieving world class expertise in any skill, is, to a large extent, a matter of practicing the correct way, for a total of around 10,000 hours. He supports his belief with a lot of examinations of different people. The book is worth reading!
