C is for Commitment
Oh commitment. You strong and powerful word. Even just the thought of you can make me feel tired sometimes.
Just a reminder to everyone that you can still be committed and take time off.
Now for my little story. I am one of those people where my mind is always on. It's hard for me to shut off. I'm checking my email constantly, even in the middle of the night. I have to force myself to relax. I feel guilty way too easily and I feel like if I'm not being productive by doing something then I am being lazy.
So I'm reminding myself and any other person who finds it hard to not be busy that it is okay to relax every now and then. And that just because you take a break doesn't mean you aren't committed.

So true, I feel guilty everytime I step away from my computer. I wake and straight to my phone to check emails. So hard to take my mind of my business, you could say I am obsessed. Thank you Leigh, your post has reminded me that taking a break is part of being productive. Cheers Kev
You are welcome. I had to really take my own advice this time too. It is so funny because I often think of the saying, "Do as I say, not as I do." Its funny when we know the best thing to do, but still find it hard to comply.
Leigh, you're my new best friend!! I was struggling with feeling guilty in taking a break from WA this weekend. I had to step back and take a breather yesterday because I was really, really tired. I don't think I realized how hard I had been working to move forward in my business.
Thank you for the reminder that taking a break doesn't mean I'm not committed.
