My two-cents worth- Nobody should deter you to chase after your dreams
So... I recently told a colleague of mine that I am having thoughts about tendering my resignation as I am getting sick and tired of having to work 8-5 everyday. Being forced to wake up early in the morning everyday by an alarm clock and squeezing with people in the trains to-and-fro work are taking a toll on my mental health (seriously).
And then, I shared with him that I am starting to learn the ropes of becoming an affliate marketer. I told him that my dream is to retire my bosses one day and achieve financial freedom without having to work under anybody anymore. I want to be so rich that I am able to afford everything in a shopping mall, buying my dream house and car and ultimately, using my money to set up charities to assist the under-priviledged.
As expected, he laughed them off saying times are bad, online business is a scam and I should just get a degree, study hard work hard, get a good job and just stick to a stable income. He went on to lecture me about all the BAD stuffs of doing a business, saying I am gullible and naive to even think of that and many people have burned their fingers trying to venture into businesses. Those rich people are just lucky because they capitalised on opportunities and ordinary people like us should stop thinking about starting a business altogether.
And so, I started thinking to myself- he is not even a successful person yet. How the hell did he know so much about business? No doubt he may be a good employee, but I highly doubt that he know nuts about business. And who is he to tell me that I should not chase after my dreams?
I made my decision to become a premium member of WA one week ago. And till now, I have no regrets as I am still slowly learning the ropes of forming a successful online business myself. Things may be tough right now but I believe I CAN achieve my dreams with the help of everyone here.
I made a promise to myself that I am going to dedicate my time and energy whenever I can here. To conclude off my post, I strongly believe that nobody should stop you from chasing after whatever dreams you have. There's a reason why we are born in this world and without a dream, humans would be like a robot-- wake up-go to work-go home-sleep and the cycle continues everyday. I honestly wouldn't want to work all my life to pay bills till i die.

I agree with you in a 100%, it is hard to think out of the box when you are surrounded by normal human beings.
And to be honest the more successful I become, the more special I become to choose the people to surround me, some of them think I am crazy, that I am cocky, honestly I just let them think whatever they want.
I remember when I was just starting in the internet business world all of my friends were making fun of me (specially cause at the beginning I made a lot of mistakes but that didn't stop me)
And i prefer to fail cause at least i know i am making something for my self, i refuse to accept my reality that's why i will never stop until i build my own future.
So leevic , hold strong and don't let this fools tell you what your goals are.
