Word Count Online

We are taught here at WA the amount of words we write has an impact on our website and ranking. When I first started to write content, I struggled to get above 500 words.

As I continued the training and created post, it got easier and easier. I can now write 1500 to 2000 words, if not more, with no problem. My word count online, blew me away this morning.

I Am Not A Writer-Or Am I

I can honestly say that I still don't look at myself as a writer, and to be honest, I hate writing. I went in to website content to see which post I wanted to work on and I noticed my word count.

It had six digits. I hadn't really noticed how many words I had written in quite some time. I have written 100,460 words.

I don't think that is a lot. I honestly feel that I should have written more than that. I am in the super Wealthy Affiliate challenge group and we were to write 12 post each month.

Each post is to have at least 1000 words and I have been here a little over a year. That comes to around 144,000.

I was away for about a month and I struggled with creating content a few times. My plan is to make up for where I lacked.

Like I said, I am not a writer and I have to force myself to write sometimes. It has gotten easier and it can for you as well.

Kyle talks about "not being a writer" in the training. I remember the feeling I had when I first learned about having to write content consistently.

I was very overwhelmed. I know I am not the only one who has experienced that. Many think that writing your about me, is the easy one.

It really isn't for some of us. When you are completely new to this type of business and don't like writing, it can be very overwhelming.

Negative To Positive

Taking something negative and turning it into something positive can work with anything that we might come across.

Writing content is certainly one of them. Another thing that Kyle stated in the training, was that we should write like we are talking to a friend.

We all talk to others, right? If you write what you want to say to them, or write what you think they need to know, then it does make it easier.

Research was another "oh no" moment for me. Like I said, I was completely new this type of business.

But I knew I came here in search of finding success, and I wasn't just going to quit. I had found legitimate training and support.

So thanks to this awesome community answering all of my questions, I was able to look at it completely different.

We research things all the time, and just don't realize it. The only thing is, we aren't just looking for information that will help us, but what will help others. Our audience.

Isn't that what your purpose is? To help others? When I started to look at the positive side of doing research and writing content, it became much easier.

I am only promoting WA at this time, so I write a lot of reviews about online opportunities and online jobs.

If I get in a slump when I am looking for a review to create, or I don't want to do the research and create a post, how am I going to help others?

If I am not helping others, then how will my site be successful? If my site isn't successful, then how could I expect to become successful?

My goal has not changed since I first joined. I want to help other parents and empty nesters out there, that aren't able to work outside of their home to know they CAN work from home.

I remind myself constantly, that I am doing this for them. Not just for myself. No matter what your niche is, you are still here to help others.

Take your negative and turn it into positive. Don't look at it like a chore. Look at it like a purpose. Your purpose, the purpose to help others.

This Is Your Shot Take It

No one said this would be easy. It doesn't mean you need to make it harder on yourself. Whenever you are having a hard time or feel lost and confused, we will help you.

Just reach out to us, the community. We have had others help us and we still do from time to time.

You had a purpose when you decided to become a member. Don't lose sight of that purpose or your goal.

There are plenty of members who never even gave this a true go at it, but you did. There was a reason for that.

You believed in WA, you believed in your purpose and most importantly, you believed in yourself.

Other than financial hardship, there really is no reason why you can't do what you came here to do.

It isn't a race and there is not set time limit on when you will see the results you want to see. It is up to you to achieve them though. Don't give up. You got this.

I hope this will help someone who may be lacking confidence or struggling.

Wishing you the best in all you do
