Where Did My Mentor Go

When we join Wealthy Affiliate as a new member, we are often told that our mentor is the person whom we signed up through, the owner of the website where we found WA.

I have seen a few members who aren't able to find their mentor. Where did my mentor go has been asked a couple of times.

Inactive Members

If you have tried to contact your mentor and have had no response, you can check their profile for recent activity.

If there isn't any recent blogs, training or questions that they have asked, you can scroll through the comments on their profile.

Don't just look for what members are saying, look to see if the "mentor" has responded recently.

You can send them a private message to see if you get a response as well. Recently I have seen a couple of new members leaving messages for their mentors and not getting a response.

I will check the profile for activity, as I don't want new members to feel like they have been abandoned.

I have come across 2 members who have had new members (referrals) leave messages on their profile that hasn't been active in 11 months.

This post is for the new members. I just want you to know there are several places to get help and you don't have to wait for hours, days, weeks etc.

Where To Go For Help

If you are new and you are looking for help or have questions, you can almost always count on the community.

Once you start looking around the platform or get started on the training, you will realize that there are many places to ask questions.

Chances are the question you want to ask, has been asked before. If you check below each lesson you will find a comment section.

If you have questions about the lesson, go ahead and ask it there. You can scroll down though the comments and your answer may already be there.

You can also check through my training. I created training on "help and where to get it". Please feel free to check it out. I can't tell you all the places as I will be duplicating content.

I am sure it will be of great use to you. I have seen members have to wait hours to get an answer.

This may be because of the fact that everyone here is from different parts of the world. There is no reason for you to have to wait for an answer though.

Please, when you need an answer get it. You are never alone here. There is always someone here that can help. You may just have to check different areas.

I hope this will help some of you. Wealthy Affiliate is the best place to learn and grow. We all want to see and help each other succeed.
