Don't Let Fraudster In

Today I wantto talk about fraudsters.
These peopleget your phone numbers and then phone you. They will tell you any think such asyour phone is going to be turned off all your broadband is going to be turnedoff due to a fault.
So let’s getit straight from the start your service providers do not and will not call youabout faults if you haven’t reported it to them. They will only call you if anarrangement has been made beforehand with you, most service providers now donot take control of your computers. To deal with anything on your computer youwould have contacted them if you were having computer troubles, and again you wouldhave arranged for them to call you.
So if youget a call from someone asking you to turn on your computer and allow themaccess then the chances are this is a fraudster, and under no circumstancesshould you allow this to happen. These people are trying to gain access intoyour computer where they can gain access to your accounts i.e. bank accounts,savings accounts, etc., etc.
So if you’renot sure do not allow access to anyone. If they tell you they are from yourservice provider then they will have no problem with letting you ring them back,then the advisor can then check you to see if they have called you as it willbe logged and if so why. They will not require access to your computers as theservice providers are providing a telephone line and broadband services ingeneral. So if in doubt pick up the phone and give them a ring.

Genuine people and companies will notify you in advance!
They will or should never arrive at your doorstep without prior agreement and if they do take your time to check them out - and FEEL FREE to send them away if you are not comfortable.
A genuine company will no mind in the slightest if you do indeed do this.

Hi No this has not happen to me but I do deal with people on a daily basis that this has happen to. I really cant stress enough that no one call you unless you have arrange it. people are losing there money. :(

It is so true that people will say anything to get what they want from you. It reminds me of the elderly that always seems to be taken advantage of by someone, whether it be on the phone or in person. You have to be careful and smart. Like you said, the companies will not call you unless you called first. Listen to your gut feeling or your intuition. Good Post!
