Google search and Twitter and why it is important to have a Twitter account

"Starting today, we’re bringing Tweets to Google Search on mobile devices. So now when you’re searching on the Google app or any browser on your phone or tablet, you can find real-time content from Twitter right in the search results."
Tweets will be searchable on any browser on your phone or tablet where you can find real-time content from Twitter.
when I noticed this announcement, I thought to myself: "it is so cool, more tools for marketing effort and just 144 characters to write."
Currently, this search is available on google.com in English or google app - both Android and IOS and on mobile browsers.
Unfortunately for me I never use Twitter and not sure what is correct and proper way or etiquette for tweets. So the question for you, my lovely WA members - Do you have any tricks or tips on how to write successful tweets

Make your tweets short and to the point with no more than 2 hashtags. A hashtag is a word or group of words, similar to keywords.
If you can get your tweet to be no more than 117 characters long, you will be able to attach a photo.
Make sure your tweet has your domain name within it. An example tweet could look like these...

Do you mean information on other social media networks? If yes, I will probably also mention Google+ seeing how Twitter and Google are working together now.
