To Love or To Judge
Humanity is being challenged to make decisions in how we treat one another. Do we stand in love or to we stand in judgment? A truth I have come to realize is if we have a true relationship to GOD (as coined by a friend Jo Dean GOD= Galatic Order of Divinity) we have to realize if we believe this GOD to be perfect and creator of all to stand in judgment is to question GOD as the perfect creator. This is true no matter your personal definition of GOD- whether it is Biblical, from the Koran, The Book of Muslim, The Vedas or any other spiritual reference this list is not meant to be all-inclusive, it is merely to suggest that it matters not what religious scriptures you use for reference.
I live in the United States, was born here and so it is my home country. I find it interesting the dichotomy in views being thrown on the internet as the Supreme Court of this country has ruled gay marriages are constitutional. Many spouting how godless this country has become and how the forces of dark are prevailing and many other messages. How is spreading hate, spreading the love of GOD, who created all? How is that loving your neighbor as yourself- probably the highest teaching of all? If it doesn’t fit the definition of marriage in your institutional frame of thinking then don’t go, don’t hold them in your institution. Simple. Who would want to be married in an institution that doesn’t recognize the marriage? Religious ceremonies for weddings vary greatly across the globe unless your marriage was done in a scriptural way, with or without the involvement of the state then regardless of your religion you are not married in the site of your GOD.
What the Supreme Court did was say the state now recognizes gay marriages as valid. Not that your institution/religion. Not your mindset. This says we are a country that has accepted that whether or not GOD is involved that if two people want to commit their lives to one another they are to be treated in the eyes of the state in the same manner no matter
