Chasing sippy cups and socks
Having a toddler at home is a bit like trying to tame a monkey.
I think I put his socks on fifty times a day, and clean up water splashes from a dropped sippy cup equally often.
Sometimes I get frustrated with the constant repetitiveness of the day-to-day process of parenthood but then I remember that these days will soon be over and I will sometimes wish the weren't gone yet.
It's kindred to building a website...all of the detail and research and composing will some day be done and then I will wish it wasn't! But then...on to another site :-)

People will tell you to enjoy them while they are little because they grow up fast. While you are busy chasing the sippy cups and socks, fast seems inconceivable. Or at least it did for me. I raised my boys as a single mom. Now, I almost find myself tearing up wishing that I could be in your shoes again for just a little bit longer.
