Hi,
First of all, I have to say that the updated design is amazing.
I have one question about the "Classes" section. When I click on the calendar, I cannot retri
Maybe it must be a bug. Normally it's suppose to be working, if not, this is definitely a bug
If you mean the reply from Jay's live, you have to go to "Training", then "Classes", and finally "events".. Yes mine is working
It was working yesterday, but I just checked it now, and you're right, it's not working at all. This is a bug
Oh ok, I see... at least there is one way to have the publication date.. But I was referring my question to the calendar in "Classes" section, the one in the top right corner...When I click on it, nothing changes (screen attached)
Could be great to click on one of those date and get the training poping up at the top of the page if you get what I mean :) but thanks for your help !
Yeah I see what you mean for the calendar. And yeah, I have the same issue. Another bug haha. I'm sure they're fixing all of that
hey hi Lauranne ... Super question! ...
Just checked it and it's working fine.... it takes a few seconds to load up ...
so it's all good from my computer ...
just give it a few nano-seconds to load ...
it was a huge roll-out so it seems there are still adjustments as yet to fine tune ...
try it again ...
You mean in Classes section right ? Not the training -> Classroom -> Event
When you click on this calendar (picture attached) it's loading up right ? Because nothing happens on my side (just rechecked), seems like a bug
... yes, in Classes ... i just timed it .... it took 3 or 4 extra seconds to load up a video ... as they say 'patience is a virtue' ...
... the super Tech Team's still actively fine-tuning the 'quirks 'n quarks' as yet ...
... and anything to do with videos will take more time and space to get it all right ...
in the meantime, suggest perhaps do something else more meaningful with your learning in building your online biz ... :)
Ok nice, thank you for your great help :) I will check that again. And yes, going to focus on the biz now. Wish you great success !
*** indeed, you're very welcome ... happy to be of help here! ...
yes, super idea ... focus back on your biz! ...
all the very best to you for every Success,

Hi ! Thank you for your reply. I actually wanted to know if it was possible to use the calendar from the top right corner in "Classes" section to retrieve the training associated.
Actually, when I click on one of those days, nothing happens.. but it seems to be a general bug from the platform..

Here are the results for this week (Nov, 18 - Nov, 25). I posted my first article on November, 19 and bought my domain 3 days ago.
I use Google Analytics for my website,
Bounce rate being good or bad entirely depends on what action you're wanting your users to take.
If your wanting them to visit that page & then visit another on your site, you want your bounce rate lower.
However if you're wanting them to visit that page & then click on external link (such as an Amazon affiliate link) then you should expect it to be higher - but you should also monitor clicks/conversions in this case to make sure that they're not just clicking back to the search results.
Hope that makes sense :) just trying to highlight that bounce rate as a number in itself isn't a be-all & end-all.
Hi Lauranne. You have a great bounce rate. Not only that, you have people returning to your site. I'm a little confused, are you saying that the above figures come from a new site you have only just started. If so, your figures are excellent. Keep doing what you're doing as these are figures often only seen for established sites. They reveal that your audience is engaging with your site. Any figure over 2 minutes session duration is excellent many people leave sites within the first minute. If you keep writing good , engaging, posts your bounce rate will drop below 50%. Jim
Yes it does !!! I have created this website (siterubix) on November, 6 and I just wrote the About Us page at that time.
I started creating real content on November 19 and until now, I have 3 posts (content) + the about us page and privacy policy.
My website has been indexed by Google and it seems that many people are already reading the different posts. I was just wondering about the bounce rate because it seems "high" to me, but I had no real idea of it. I have created a Facebook and Instagram page, so it might have helped me to have more views !
Thank you again for your reply Jim.
Lauranne
An ideal bounce rate for an established website is below 40%. You should be very happy with your figures. Jim
I think you may have applied to GoogleAds prematurely.
Keep following the training and do the assignments. They tell you when to do things for a reason. Applying for something like Adsense too early will get you denied. They look for a certain amount of content on the website.
It is covered in Level 3, lesson 7 for adding Google Adsense.
I know, we all want to jump ahead, but just relax and follow it all step by step. I've done the same time a couple of times and I have to keep telling myself to just slow down.
I thought it was too early also. I did that because some people on the platform told me to do so after I asked for feedback. It doesn't matter if they deny. I can still apply for it later again. :)
Do you have any idea about the ideal bounce rate ?
It's not too bad at all really, but with so little actual content on your website and so little likely real users the chances are it really means nothing at this point. Most of the traffic is likely from bots and spiders working on finding the site. You really need more data to give it any relevance at this point.
The lower the bounce rate the longer people are hitting your site. However, having a high bounce rate on a blog post that people are getting to directly from a search engine or other link isn't a big deal.
Bounce rate is calculated by taking all single page visits and dividing it by all visits to your website. So currently half of the traffic is only visiting one page.
You do want people to be at least clicking some additional content for your site - it does improve your ranking and authority with Google. But it is not the be all end all.
I don't really understand what you mean by not "real users" as I have the list coming from all around the world.. I think it may have bots and spiders working but it seems to be at a maximum of 20% of the users.
I have created and shared a Facebook page which gave me a peak of users also and new followers, so I guess those people coming from Facebook are real people, am I wrong ?
When bots/spiders are any amount in the double digit percentage it skews the readings is all I mean.
I've had really weird readings in the first few months of websites I've run over the years that I just sort of don't trust the results of analytics right off. I could just be that old and bitter guy about it lol
That is a pretty unique spread of users and countries, which likely make me wrong. Best of luck!
Well, you should now be showing a Canadian visitor to your site :)
At least, I have learnt new things with you ! And I will make it step by step for the rest :) Thank you very much for your help !
I will be very interested in the community comments, as I have wondered about this myself.
Thanks for asking.
