Vacations 4 the Soul
In our busy lives, there are times when we forget that no good production can be validated without perspective.
That is why we have VACATIONS.
It gives us that time we need to reevaluate why we are in this business. Is it for the money, or is it for the Freedoms that are provided from hard work. Work that can only be valued through how much we garnish.
I think the beach, the mountains, resorts, are well worth the money if I am able to meet new people that will show some interest in the work I have decided to take on. So I never really achieve the ideal vacation. What I achieve is the potential to raise referrals and increase my market out reach by visiting, People gather destinations.
Now I must stress that I am on vacation. I stress it to myself and to the people around me because If I begin to talk about work and money while I am on vacation, then I am not relaxing. I will not talk about how much I spent on vacation, because I would only stress myself, I do not feel I earn enough for a vacation. So...It would not be worth sharing how important they are for the soul.
When you go on vacation Do not talk about money.
Do not talk about people and what they can produce for you, instead enjoy the freedom that comes from being able to smile about something other than a sales pitch. I enjoy the waves and the views and I think to myself, How awesome the people that own a resort have it over the years. To charge someone nearly $500 for a 3 night stay.
I instantly have to turn off my jealousy radar. They found a way to make money that does not need much advertisement of word of mouth to sell.
Everyone loves a Vacation.
