I have the premium version of Yoast that i would like to install on this new blog, but will it interfere with WA's SEO Framwork?

Hey Andrew, just following up to echo Diane's comment. I've been using Yoast for maybe 6 or 7 years, so I've stuck with that for my older sites (newer sites I just leave SEO framework installed), but not for any of the SEO guidelines or advanced features. It helps visualize your meta titles in mobile/desktop search, and provides quick access to indexing features, and basic schema, but I think SEO Framework is a bit cleaner for that.

Thanks for the input, much appreciated! Based on the general census, i think I'll just leave it as the Framework on concentrate on creating high quality content. Thanks again! :)

Yep, one seo plugin at a time.

WA recommends the SEO framework.

Thanks Abie - will just stick to the Framework then :)

Hi - yes, you should only have one SEO plugin, they will conflict with each other.

Thanks Diane. I'm torn between the 2. I'm not exactly sure what WA's Framework offers, and I like to have the guides from Yoast when writing my content. Any suggestions? :)

Hi - I'm not the best person to ask really, as I don't like to use an SEO plugin.

I find that people tend to follow their guidelines to the letter and end up writing for search engines rather than their visitors.

I do have the free version of Yoast, but only because I like to see which posts require internal links.

But that's all I use it for; I don't try to meet any of its targets, and I don't worry if my scores are not green.

So, hopefully, you will get another response from somebody who uses the SEO Framework and can tell you of its benefits!

Hi Diane. Makes sense actually. I'll give it a miss. Thanks for your time getting back to me.
