I have created 2 Keyword lists, one list has 7 keywords and the other has 11, I don't know if that's too many or if there is a magic number. Also, it seems that I may not have n

Yes You can't change your URL but don't get over sensed on EMD's (Exact Matching Keyword Domains) - just make your Domain Brand-able if you can. I would only delete a website if I made a spelling mistake within the URL or if it has no relevance to your niche - Some people get overly exited and register a domain without thinking only to be told by the experts that the name has no relevance - However you do get exceptions i.e. Amazon sell Books and products but they Don't sell Rivers.

Keep looking until you find the Big gems ie High Searches pm (1000+) and low competition (200-)

I will, thank you.

Trust me, you'll be needing to find many more keywords. I typically come up with a list of 30-40 keywords and probably wind up using a little more than half. In my opinion you can never have too many. That being said I would not recommend you spend an entire day finding them but as you go through the training you will be needing to find more.

Thank you...I think I'm worrying too much about doing everything perfectly.

As you get more and more into this you will find that you will create all sorts of keyword lists. There's no rules about how many words you should have on them. I have some lists that have nearly 100 keywords on them. :) Beverley

Thanks Beverley, that helps...I think I'm overthinking this a little too soon, I'm just on course 1, Lesson 7

I have been at this for almost a year and I still research and record new keywords constantly. If you are finding keywords with a decent amount of searches and a fairly low QSR, then they probably aren't too broad. Then again, I don't know what your niche is.

I'm not sure what your question is.

Its actually 2 questions, I should have been more specific...Of the 2 Keyword lists that I created, is there a certain number of keywords I should aim for? I believe in the lesson it said at least 5, but not too many...How many should I have?
And the other question was more about my Niche, I think its too broad, but I will work through that.

There isnt really a magic number.... say between 5 and 10. Its more important that you write naturally around the content and have quality content. You only want to use one keyword in post ( for example), and have it in the title and first paragraph, then write around it naturally. I don't know what your niche is so I can't help with that.

If the keywords are relevant to your site, why not write articles based on those keywords?

Don't imprison your mind or creativity with "rules" about numbers of lists. If the number is just one-or if it is 20-as long as iit spews forth content you like and are proud of, that's all that matters :)

I was thinking about using Spiritual Enlightenment as my Niche, but now I'm thinking that its too broad...Suggestions, comments...

Hey Larry, I was wondering if you ever decided what to do about having Spiritual Enlightenment as a niche.

Hello, I have found that "Spiritual Enlightenment" is very broad as a niche, so many avenues to pursue and so many ideas to write about, but I went with it anyway because it is my passion. Mt website is www.spirituallyhip.com.Take a look at it if you want and see where I am going with it so far. Please keep in touch as I would love to see what you decide to do with your site. I am always looking for ways to improve my spirituality. I noticed that you were /are a vocal coach, that is interesting because I have always wanted to sing...I have an inner need to sing and I have promised myself that this is the year that I do something about it and vocal training is where I am looking to start. To bad that you are not in my city...:-). Best wishes for you and if you need anything just let me know.

Sounds good! One thing you could do is come up with your first ten topic ideas. Jot down a few highlights and main points of each idea. Then when you look at that list you might see a common theme or something that really jumps out at you - and that could help you narrow down your broad niche into a smaller one.

Thank you, will try that.

Good but perhaps specify which one and what kind?

That seems to be my issue, narrowing it down...there are so many ways to go.
