On my way to success...My very first blog ever

I can't believe I'm finally in the right mind set for this adventure I've chosen to take, it's taken me over 50yrs to get here and I'm ecstatic about it! This is my very first blog, ever, on the WWW.

It all started just a few years ago when my ability to physical, and mentally carry on with my current career and give 100% like I had for more then 25yrs was diminishing to less in performance. I realized, when the doctor said to slow down or get sick, that financialy I couldn't slow down, and physically I couldn't work like this anymore; my family needed me, and I needed me! I went to school at the age of 50; to learn about business, graduated on the honor roll. I thought a new education was going to lead me to a new and exciting job, but like so many people I know, it lead me right back to healthcare, to being underpaid and over worked AGAIN!

So... Last year I started to scout ways to have a home based business, that wouldn't cost too much money and time; that would afford me the time and money I deserved. Like so many others in my place, I made mistakes, lost money and valuable time slipped through my fingers as I typed and clicked my my life away; to say the least I had a varied emotional response, and my family noticed too! I was skeptical about this whole path that I had chosen to explore, but it just made me a whole lot smarter and more determined to find a trustworthy path; which brought me here today.

As some of you are aware, my time here is short lived, and I've decided to take my sweet time discovering what my goals are. I've learned a lot about myself and it's taken me till recently to understand just how I go about my life and how I react to failure. In the past I would just go back to old habits, end up right in the same position of life/work with no balance and just tolerate what I've allowed myself, but not this time! This time is the last time I allow myself to fail; this time I found WA! This time on the right path!!

So far, I've gotten to the 6th lesson in the 1st course, and it's already taught me to quieten down, slow down and breath. When I'm overworked, I usually get sick, specially this time of year. This past few weeks, working double shifts, and another job, as well as, working on my business in WA this past week, made me sick, and gave me some much needed time to reflect on my choices; one of which is my choice of niche website that I started wasn't a completely natural choice, but just a deep interest I have.

Now, I haven't dismissed my original choice, but merely put it away for now. I woke up this morning wanting to start painting again; I love art and music of almost all kinds, I'm an amateur artist, and understand it well; its a passion I can't run from, and have a deep understanding of, which brings me to tell all of you in this very supportive community, what stirred me enough to write my first ever blog.

Thank you to all who lead me here, you know who you are, and thank you for reading my blog; you are a part of this journey. A journey that will lead me up to success, life and living! My decision to build a website based on blogging, and guidance to people wanting to dabble in the arts, or just looking to find that piece of art for their den is going to send me where I need to be!

I'm heading to get my own domain now, then build the kind of website that will one day have endless traffic!
