When the intruders have conquered my website

Hello WA family

I had a nightmare last Sunday. My website was conquered by strangers from all over the world .They started to register their name as administrators in my website then they have posted their posts through my website.

I started by deleting the posts and the names manually but they came back over and over again .Then I sent SOS call to WA members to help me out .It was Sunday but the friends did not leave me alone .They were asking and giving me advices .I tried everything .Until I discovered that the membership box was ticked ,That was the problem .Everybody was able to register his name and start to post .I didn´t know that .Once I unticked it the problem was solved .The deletion of the post affected my website health,It went down , but I am working to compensate that .

I want to thank my friends for helping me and coming back to me several times .It was the weekend but they insisted to help .This the family spirit and it was proved once again here in WA . Thank you so much and I hope that my experience will help the beginners to avoid these mistakes .
