Social Media and traffic
Hello WA friends
The lessons and trainings here in WA taught us the importance of the social media for our websites. From the beginning, I knew the importance of them because I came here by following a pin in my group board in Pinterest.
Pinterest was my biggest source of traffic. It was helpful. When the SEO started to work the direct source now is the major source.
Everyone has a talent with a form of social media. Some are very successful with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest. The major issue that you can be successful socially in one media but when It comes to business it might change.
I have an account in Instagram for three years now. I have great friends who became actual friends in my real life. We talk and I know them personally now. But when it comes to traffic generation for the website Instagram wasn't helpful for me (some people ARE depending on it).
A dear friend from WA has shared a blog about Twitter and her blog was included in a blog directory in Twitter. I followed her and I started to follow her recommendations. It is amazing how she and her friends have supported me. And my network is growing constantly. My website was included in similar blogs directories. Healthy lifestyle is our field.I hope that it will help all of us to share the growth and success.
The message here is you have to try all of the social media forms to find the most powerful for you without ignoring the other forms.
Here I would like to thank Milla for the great blog that she have shared here and guided me to twitter.

For all my friends let us follow each other and retweet. Being in a directory among the similar blogger will bring the targeted traffic to your site.

I wish you all much of success.

Laminar,
I am glad I could help you out.
When I first got on Twitter it was like being in a foreign country. I am still getting better daily, but as you mentioned we should not rely on one source to get traffic to our blogs.
Of course, we must continue to create quality content which will help our readers
I will continue to support you on Twitter- I think we should all support each other.
Much continued success to you:)
I must also publicly thank Camille for helping me get to grips with twitter! I have made it my mission to engage more and it's all thanks to her brilliant tips!
THANKS CAMILLE :D

Twitter- takes time to build a following
use the search bar to search for keywords-you can find ppl interested in your niche in this way.
A major factor there is to interact with others, favorite tweets, Retweet (use this sparingly-some ppl will not RT u back)
There are blogger groups who will RT ur tweet if you mention them in your tweet For example:
21 restaurants serve organic meat. Did ur city make the list? @FabBloggersRT @FemaleBloggerRT --see at the end where the @ sign is? That is how you mention someone @(their username)
Here is the blog post where I give the names of some of the bloggers to follow & mention in your tweets to RT.
When your tweets get RT you get more exposure and more followers. Places to Get Your Blog Noticed Hope this helps,
Camille
Thank you for the follow there I followed back. As I mentioned with the help of our friend Milla, I followed her and she with her powerful circles started to help me out.
The g+ circle again One of our friends( KyleKim) here in WA have blogged about the amount of views in google plus and he asked to start a wave of following each other and we did. You have to interact and share all the time and you will increase your network. Join the recommended people to guarantee the retweets and help. I wish you all the best.
Could not have said it better Laminar. Let's keep building this awesome business here at WA.
