How about a cliche for a niche

How about a cliché? Yeah, okay, how about "Build it and they will come," an adaption of "build it and he will come"—Oh!It's from the movie Field of Dreams. You Know Kevin Costner and baseball, what's not to like?

In the corporate world, this cliché means: Build a businessand your customers will come. In the affiliate online world, it means: Build awebsite and your niche, target audience, will come.

Dust-off- your-hands simple, no heavy lifting involved, no over thinking. Except I still can’t finda niche.

And the word was explained superbly, along with the initial process. Our instructor does not imply simplicity, but rather explains and defines in the most direct terms. I, on the other hand, want to infer a simplicity that for me is not simple.

Am I hard headed? I don’t like simplicity. Additionally, I am always suspicious of“simplicity.” I think I need a case study and then another and then another…. Where are the smoke mirrors, where did that rabbit come from? The questions never seem to cease. What do you mean just add water?

Back to square one. Who are my people, and I don't mean to sound like Moses? Certainly, I am not speaking of ethnics or religions or politics. So what is my niche? I don'tknow.

What am I passionate about? Too many things to narrow downto one.

The question remains.

One rule I heard was do not worry about the competition when choosing a Niche. There are 3.75 million people searching the internet and plenty of new readers/customers to go around. Just get on the merry-go-round.
