My progress here at WA
As I said in another blog. I started the journey with WA in April of this year, but didn't really take it seriously until the last couple months. I got side tracked with an opportunity to sell products for Itworks! Global. I put all my time and effort into that. To this day I have no success with that business. I will continue to work at it, because I don't give up when I put my mind to something.
So, something in my head said to visit wealthy affiliate and give it another shot and devote myself to that. Well, I did. for the last two months I have been working through the lessons and and currently on course 4, lesson 7. I have learned SO much here at WA.
So far, I've learned how to create a website, how to find your niche (this one is still in the works) right now, I have a "blanket" niche where I just chose what I want to write about that day. I am realizing the benefits of having a specific niche. I think I have narrowed it down to a work from home website and a Fibromyalgia website since those are the areas that I currently at in life. I've learned to use keywords, images and media in posts, I've learned to write in a way that pulls an audience in, and I've learned the back office part of the website. I've learned about ranking and google index. I've learned about using social media to promote my business. I could go on and on about all that I've learned but seriously, I can't remember all of it right now because It has been SO much.
Oh, just remembered I learned about affiliate marketing and using amazon, Ebay and so many other website products and earn money for promoting their products. I've learned about dropshipping...Oh my gosh, SO much. I can't believe that ALL this only costs a small monthly fee.
I still haven't figured out how this is all going to come together and how the Affiliate Program at WA works completely. I get the gist of it, but how do we make sure we get credit for referrals? If someone reads a post where I've mentioned WA, and they click on it, how does it get sent to me for credit? I think the program is just another HUGE bonus for us to earn more income.
I am finding success on social media as my following continues to rise. I was Google indexed and that was a VERY EXCITING thing for me.
My plan for the next 3 months, is to continue to learn, and implement what I've learned to increase traffic and build my audience and hopefully start generating some income.
In the next 6 months I hope to have some income coming in, and getting more comments on my posts and websites. I hope that my website will help many dealing with Fibromyalgia and working from home with an online business.
I can not wait to make my husband and daughters proud of me. When I lost my job I was hopeless to ever "work" again... I'm glad now, because if I hadn't lost my job, and been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, I wouldn't have looked for alternate ways to make income and I wouldn't have found WA. I feel extremely grateful for this opportunity and I want to share it with everyone.
