Why is it that so many people fail?

People fail for a number of reasons. Not having the drive to push through the rough patches on the road to success, not wanting it enough, not taking the time to learn...but what about not having the right goals?

Yep, goals. Quitting is equivalent to failing in my book. Goals are something everyone should set. And yes, nearly everyone sets goals but they aren't realistic. My niche and the niche Kyle uses throughout training is the health and fitness niche. Since we are all set with his through the training...it would be like setting your first and only goal for losing belly fat as, "getting abs". When you don't get abs soon, you are going to get discouraged and quit.

Although your main goal may be to have those nice, sculpted abs. It shouldn't, by any means, be your only goal. That is where people get discouraged. They forget that first you lost inches and then you start to get a flat stomach and then you will start to see definition. With blogging for money, or making money through network marketing, working your way up the latter in the corporate world there are many steps before you are at the very top.

I'm writing this blog post as my first post in WA because in the training and discussions I keep seeing people post their goals and majority of the people have unrealistic goals. I don't want to offend anyone, in any way, but if you have just joined WA and you think you are going to be making $10,000 weekly or even monthly this first and possible the next few months....You probably aren't going to. Kyle has even said in the training that it takes time to develop that, not directly but listen to what he is saying. These courses are 10 lessons, and can be broken into 10 days....there is a reason for that. It takes time to get income, success, and people who follow your website.

If you don't want to quit your day job and just want some extra fun money or mad money then that is fine. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that but make your goals realistic. There is nothing wrong with big dreams or goals and I believe that you should always be setting new goals.

So if your main goal is to make $10,000 monthly...You should set some goals before that. For instance, getting your website fully set up and on Google's first 2 pages. Then maybe withing the next 2 months making enough money to cover your costs. As you meet goals you can set new, bigger ones. Most jobs in my town pay between 8 and 12 dollars an hour so I figured that if I work full time at 8 dollars an hour I will only be making around $1,000 monthly after taxes. Making that is my main goal for now, I have 3 goals to get there.

First, get my website on Google's first few pages. Second, get steady traffic. Third, get subscribers. Once I reach $1,000 monthly my goal will be $2,000 monthly. Right now $2,000 monthly is actually my main goal. So once I am making $2,000 monthly I will set a new goal, probably go up a grand every time I reach my goal. I am always going to have 3 steps to reach my goal, and it will always be written on my vanity mirror, right next to my laptop. I do this so that I don't get discouraged.

Chances are, if you only have that goal of making thousands of dollars soon, you will get discouraged and quit.

Terrific outlook on things! Do you train as well? I'm actually in the process of writing a piece on training jiu jitsu and what it has done for me in my life. MMA is huge where I live so if you have any questions or need any feedback let me know.

Good luck to you!

Hi(: No, I don't train in MMA but I do box.

I just really like your perspective on this whole thing because it resonates with mine. Realistic goals is what sets us up for success.

You are s ray of sunlight. Your positive energy rocks. I really like how your so realistic with the goals. I feel the same way. I wish you nothing but success and Im sure Ill hear more.

Thank you(: I hope that you are able to watch your dreams come true right before your eyes. With work...you will...you will definitely deserve it

Great post Kylie! You just started a few days ago and you are such a fast learner. Way to go!

Good point, We should have some long AND short term goals.
Good luck with everything you have going on.
You have a big advantage starting on all of this at 18 years old!

Internet Marketing is a long long way to success. You must be consistent and patient. Too many people want to have success on the turn and than fail and stop.It took me almost 6 month before I saw my first $. An now slowly but surely some of my businesses start to have success. Oh, no not the five or six figures success, but the first glimmer of the sunrise.

That is only the beginning(: I don't mind the wait because in the end things will pay off

Awesome post! I am currently having a consistency issue, and this post was right up my alley, thanks!

I hope everything works out(:

Great post kysalaz ! Your goal are possible here .. Looking forward to seeing you reach them ..

Thank you(:
