Weekly Challenge: Build Life on the Moon

Hey Everyone,

We are going back to the moon.

NASA's Artemis program is making it happen, and the goal isn't just to visit...it is to STAY. We are talking permanent bases, habitats, infrastructure, and eventually a sustained human presence on the lunar surface.

So this week, I want you to imagine what that actually looks like.

Not from a scientific diagram perspective. I want you to think about the everyday, the commercial, the fun, the human side of it. If people are living on the moon, they are going to need businesses, entertainment, restaurants, shops, landmarks, and all the things that make a place feel like home.

What does a moon city look like when real people are living and working there?

Your task is to use Image Studio to design a scene showing what life on a human inhabited moon could look like. Think commerce, culture, community, recreation...the kind of place where people actually LIVE, not just survive.

What to Do:

Use Image Studio to create a scene of human life on the moon.

Think about things like:

• Businesses and storefronts on the lunar surface
• Restaurants, cafes, or entertainment venues
• Residential areas, parks, or community spaces
• Landmarks, monuments, or tourist attractions
• Transportation systems, roads, or infrastructure
• Branding, signage, and advertising (real or imagined brands)
• The mix of futuristic technology and familiar everyday life

Your scene should feel:

• Immersive and detailed
• Like a real place where people would actually want to live
• Creative, fun, and full of personality
• A blend of futuristic and familiar

Post in the comments:

• Your image (attach it directly)
• What your scene represents (a business, a neighborhood, a landmark, etc.)
• A short description of the life you imagined on the moon
