One Person, One Laptop, No Excuses.

I want you to think about every reason someone couldn't build an online business 15 years ago.

I can't afford a web designer. Fair. That was thousands of dollars.

I can't write well. Fair. Content was everything and there was no help.

I don't know how to code. Fair. Tech skills were a real barrier.

I can't afford to hire anyone. Fair. Scaling meant additional costs and a payroll.

I don't know where to start. Fair. Good training was scattered, expensive, or flat out scams.

Now walk through that same list today.

Can't afford a designer? You can create professional graphics, logos, and full websites in an afternoon. Can't write well? You have writing support that world-class copywriters would have killed for a decade ago. Can't code? You don't need to. Can't hire a team? You don't need one of those either...one person can now produce what used to take an entire staff. Don't know where to start? The training, the tools, and the community are sitting in one place, waiting.

One by one, every SINGLE excuse that used to be legitimate has dissolved. Not shrunk. Dissolved.

And I say this as someone who started when those barriers were REAL. When Carson and I were building in the early days, every one of those obstacles cost time, money, or both. Building a website, getting a domain, getting hosting and having to learn photoshop, computer programming languages, and how all the pieces worked together were REAL things.
What you have access to today, honestly, would have felt like science fiction to us back then. The gap between "I have an idea" and "my idea is live and in front of people" used to be measured in months and $1,000's. Today it's measured in hours.

So what's actually left?

One question. The only honest one remaining.

Do you want it?

That's it. That's the whole thing. Because the person building a real business this year with nothing but a laptop and a few focused hours a week isn't smarter than you. They don't have connections you don't have. They don't have access to tools you can't get. The playing field has never, EVER been this level.

The only difference between them and the person still thinking about it...is that they started, and they kept going.

I know that can sting a little. It's easier when there's a barrier to point at. But I'd rather you hear it straight, because the flip side of "no excuses" is the most exciting truth in the world. Nothing is standing between you and building this. Nothing except the decision.

One person. One laptop. Everything you need.

The excuses are gone. The opportunity isn't. Go build.
