How to Create an X.com Account
Hey Everyone,
Kyle here, and welcome to a quick video on how to set up and create an X.com account.
X is a social media platform, formerly known as Twitter. Elon Musk took it over a year or so back and renamed it "X". Despite the rebranding, you'll notice that when you visit X.com, it still redirects to Twitter.com, and the posts are still called tweets.
Here’s how to get started if you don’t have an account yet:
- Visit the Site: Go to X.com, which will redirect you to Twitter.com, or you can go directly to Twitter.com.
- Create an Account: Follow the straightforward account creation process. You’ll need to enter some personal details, like your email address.
- Verification: Twitter will validate your information, usually via email or phone, to ensure you’re a real user.
- Access Your Account: Once verified, you’ll have access to your X account.
Using X can be a good way to extend your business’s reach, and we'll be touching on its usage throughout our training. While it's not a major focus, X can offer tangible benefits for gaining additional traffic to your content. However, it's important to use it effectively rather than spending too much time without seeing results.
If you have any questions about setting up your account or how to use X for your business, drop your questions in the comments below, and I'll be happy to help.

I tried to set up a new account, but when I copied and pasted in the verification number, X said the account could not be setup. I will try again later. Perhaps I should typed in the verification code instead of doing the copy and paste thing.
Yeah, sometimes there are bugs in platforms like this. They are not immune to them either, but I am sure this is sorted now. Did you ever get this sorted?
No, I did not. I tried using Chrome, and that didn't work either. So I shifted over to Pinterest. So far, so good.
Thank you Kyle. Very nice class.
I would like to use the buisness email that I do created . Is that okay ?
