Coffee with Kyle: Image Studio Feedback, What’s Coming Next, and a Small Change Ahead
Hey everyone!
Today is very much a community feedback session, with a main focus on Image Studio. I want to hear directly from you about what’s working, what’s missing, and what you would like to see added next.
I’ll also share a bit about something new we’re building, which is a few weeks out, and wrap up with a small change to the Coffee with Kyle format going forward.
Image Studio: Your Feedback Drives What’s Next
Image Studio has unlocked a lot of creativity across the community, especially through recent challenges. We’re seeing some genuinely impressive work, and that’s exactly what this platform was built for.
Now I want to hear from you.
As you use Image Studio, what would make it better for you?
- Features you wish existed
- Small improvements that would save time
- Better organization or workflow ideas
- Art styles, image sizes, or integrations you would actually use
For example, a couple things I personally want to see:
- Better organization of reference images, especially personal photos and frequently used assets
- The ability to upload and manage existing logos separately from general uploads
Right now, you can upload these, but having dedicated areas would make things cleaner and faster. These are exactly the kinds of refinements your feedback helps us prioritize.
We’re also carefully balancing quality. While adding more reference images sounds great, too many inputs can reduce accuracy. Our goal is always higher-quality output first, then expanded flexibility as the tech allows.
Why Image Studio Matters So Much...
Almost everything we do online today is visual.
Ads.
Social posts.
Pinterest pins.
Blog headers.
Product mockups.
Image Studio gives you the ability to create all of that in one place, without bouncing between tools or fighting complex software. Whether you are building content, running ads, or just experimenting creatively, this platform is meant to support your business in real, practical ways.
That’s why we want to get the next wave of updates right.
Something New Is Coming!
We’re currently deep into development on a brand-new platform that will become part of the AI tools environment at Wealthy Affiliate.
I’m not ready to preview it just yet, but here’s what I can say:
- It’s focused heavily on content creation for social platforms
- It’s something many of you have asked for directly
- It will significantly speed up both creation and execution
When things go quiet on updates, it usually means we’re building something substantial. This is one of those moments. Expect more details and a preview in the coming weeks.
One Last Thing: A Small Format Change
This is going to be the last Coffee with Kyle for now.
Starting next week, I’m switching back to Beer with Kyle. Same conversations, same updates, just a more relaxed end-of-week vibe. You are, of course, welcome to enjoy whatever drink you prefer.

I’m really happy with the improvements that continue to be released and with how these changes have made our tasks easier. I’m also optimistic about future developments, and I don’t expect anything less than the current level of quality. The only issue is that the credits get used up so fast 😀.

Yeah, credits do get used up and that is the case with AI, it is easy to use up credits because you can let your creativity flow and you can build a lot of things quickly (and things for your business that used to cost a lot more). So the impossible has become possible, and the speed in which you can create has been taken to a new level.
What we will continue to integrate will continue to build on that. Glad you like your improvements, expect more awesomeness to come! :)
I'm quite happy with it really. Although last night I created 4 images by accident what burned through my last 2000 credits. I did use the images though so not all bad but I guess maybe you could have something that comes up when you click generate - like attention: your new ai image is about to generate double check everything before we create your new image...
Well if you click the button, it starts to generate instantly and you can see below in the "history" that it is being generated. I do think that a warning every time after you click a button could be very annoying, so just know that after you click 'Generate" it will create the image (for the future).

Hi Kyle, great to hear the new developments coming in.
Two issues that crop up for me and from your video you seem to be trying to address them
1. My logo - is text based but uploaded as an image. For some reason Image Studio keeps changing the font and design when I try to use it. It would be good to get that fixed so my logo looks like my logo.
2. I have had issues with "failed to generate" a couple of times.
As I said, it sounded to me like you are trying to address those issues.
As for my wish list
1. Convert an image into a short reel - similar to canva whereby I can take an image and save it as a reel which is around 5+ seconds long.
2. Make several images into a reel
3. Animate an image
4. Ability to colourise a black and white image
As always love to see the way you are continually updating the platform
Thanks for your feedback. A logo is always an image, even when there is text in an image, that text is actually part of an image. So I am not sure I follow here. And the image will never change, once it has been created unless you create a new one.
Failed to Generate is often times API, if it is something that happens all the time, this is something that we can look into and drop me a PM to let me know the prompts that are triggering this.
As for video, we will at some point be allowing for video, but we want the video to be high quality as our platform is represented based on this quality. Currently it is pricey, but perhaps that doesn't matter ($5 or so for an 8 second clip), for the highest grade video. Something we are considering, and something that you will see at some point. :)
Hi Kyle,
Below is my logo - either in black or white depending on the background. When I asked image studio to add the logo to the image - I referenced the image but the result was different. I've deleted some of the other images so can't show you the result with those ones but it actually changed the font and the way it was displayed. It's like it read it as text rather than an image.
As for the Generation Failed the message said "Generation Failed, The model is overloaded. Please try again later."

I'm basically in listening mode at the moment. The existing Image Studio as been a revelation to me and my business. It's like when Columbus rediscovered America. It opened up opportunities I could never of imagined before.
I've read through some of the others and endorse some of their suggestion.
I have one concern, during the 'Weekly Challenge: Design a Food-Themed Room With Image Studio' I took your instructions and asked Image Studio to design a Caribbean food scene. During generation it failed twice.
I took the same instructions put into ChatGPT and got this. See image below.
For Image Studio to do it, I had to reframe my instructions. Perhaps 2,000 characters is not enough, maybe increase it to 3,000 characters.
Second area - the image produced was almost completely about Jamaican product, it even went so as to rebrand products with the few Jamaican names it knew,.
It and you seemed to know about Red Stripe, but nothing about Carib beer, Banks beer, or Hairoun beer out of St. Vincent.
Image Studio seems not to have any real information about the Caribbean especially islands Like Barbados or Trinidad and Tobago, etc.
That needs some work. Especially as the Caribbean, for advertising WA is my intended market.

Increase the context area, got it. There have been times where I wanted to add more content as well. So this is something that we will increase, I have put in a request to increase it to 5,000 so you will see this with a future update.
If you want specific beer in your image, you should request it. If there is a lot going on, without context, it might not be super accurate. That is AI models, that is not image studio. So add the different types of beer that you want to see (within your prompt), and it will add those.
AI models know about the Caribbean, they have all the information in the world. So I wouldn't assume that, but if you are requesting a bunch of things in a broad manner, you are not going to get a lot of specifics. Add those specifics and they will show up within your image.
Thanks for your response. My comment about the beer had to do more with the AI only pulling images from Jamaica, whilst I had requested the Caribbean, I didn't narrow it down to a specific Caribbean country perse.

Thank you for the update, as always, it's appreciated.
It's interesting that you have something new coming out on the platform, I look forward to seeing that.
As for image studio, I haven't got much to add, as it's doing a good job for me, I only really use it in its basic form, but it's great for YouTube thumbnails, etc, and more! The only issue I have occasionally, but I believe in time, this will be ironed out, is sometimes it can get the title wrong, but this probably only happens 5% of the time, it's not often. Also, sometimes when I try to edit the thumbnails, it doesn't change anything, but once again, it's a great tool and I'm sure these issues will be ironed out in time.

Sure, if you ever have any specifics let me know. Remember that when you are editing text, you have to point out the exact text and the location as the location in image often times is required (in particular if it is a more complicated image).
