Coffee With Kyle: I Need Your Ideas for Our Content Platform!

Hey Everyone,
Welcome to my very first episode of Coffee with Kyle!
We’ve moved on from Beer with Kyle. Beer might still make a cameo here and there, but most of the time I’m recording these in the morning, and that’s not exactly the best time for a pint.
Plus, let’s face it...coffee and tea are the go-to drinks for most people in our community (in particular in the morning/afternoon). When I asked about this last week, the consensus was clear: coffee wins.
So here’s to coffee.
Over the years, we’ve had plenty of Wealthy Affiliate mugs. Probably 15+ versions from our Vegas Super Affiliate trips alone, so you will see different editions of these as I sip on my coffee every Friday.
With that, let’s get into today’s topic.
Today’s Focus: The Content Creation Platform
This week I want to talk about SiteContent (our content creation platform) and get your feedback on where we can improve it.
The platform is already producing high-quality content using the latest AI models, plus our own custom-built tech. Features like:
- AI authors
- Templates for structure and style
- Outlines and drafting support
But no project is ever “finished.” There’s always room to refine, evolve, and integrate new technology. That’s how we view every platform we build at Wealthy Affiliate—it’s not a final product, it’s the foundation for continuous improvement.
So today I want to show you around the platform, highlight what’s working well, and open the floor to your ideas.
Creating Content in SiteContent
From your dashboard, you can:
- Click New Article (top button) to jump straight into the designer.
- Head to My Content to see drafts and published posts.
Within the Article Designer, you’ll notice:
- AI Templates (prebuilt or your own custom ones).
- Article Topic (seeded by your hubs or entered manually).
- Content Details (this is powerful...you can add data, citations, affiliate links, tone/style requests, even a sitemap for internal linking).

One improvement I’d love to see (and I’d like your thoughts on) is the ability to save Content Details so you can reuse them across multiple articles.
For example:
- Always including 3 internal links from your sitemap.
- Always adding certain affiliate links or disclaimers.
- Always enforcing a specific tone.
Instead of retyping those instructions each time, you could just apply your saved set.
Bulk Writing & Author Control
The platform already lets you:
- Bulk generate multiple articles at once.
- Create About Me pages.
- Customize content through different author profiles.
But here’s a question: would you like the ability to train your own AI authors?
Imagine uploading a few of your best articles, and the system builds an author that writes in your exact style. Or tweaking an existing author (like the conversational blogger) to match your quirks and preferences.
Would that make your content creation process faster and closer to “ready-to-publish”?
Editing & Efficiency
The editor is strong, but there’s room to grow. For example:
- Better control over in-article editing tools.
- More flexible image generation (we’re already working on this as part of Designpop’s upcoming image studio).
- The ability to highlight content and instantly expand, shorten, or fact-check.
As you’re writing and editing, what features would save you the most time and get you closer to the finished product faster?
Beyond Articles
Not all content is blog posts. You’re creating:
- Social media content
- Ad creatives
- Emails
- Video scripts
Would you like to see these integrated directly into the platform?
Imagine being able to create a YouTube script, a blog post, and 3 social media captions—all in one flow.
Over to You
I’d love to hear your ideas:
- What improvements do you want in SiteContent?
- What editing features would make your workflow smoother?
- What other types of content (beyond articles) should the platform support?
Drop your thoughts in the comments below. I’ll be compiling a list of suggestions and making sure they’re front and center as we work on the next iterations.
Closing Thoughts
That wraps up this first Coffee with Kyle. I’ll be back next Friday with another session, and I’ll keep bringing updates, ideas, and conversations about how we can keep improving Wealthy Affiliate together.
Grab your mug, drop your feedback below, and have an awesome weekend.
